HELLO QUESTION this will be my second ever time buying any sort of manga and i really wanted it to be death note because it’s one of my all time favorite animes!!!!!! i’m debating wether or not to get volumes 1 or 3 of the manga because i like them the most. volume 1 gets us to be introduced to the characters the most and volume 3 is the start of L and Lights interactions (my favorite part of the series!!) so which ones should i get? owo
I'd say start with 1 and go from there. The art / look of the characters did still improve a little more in the later ones, I believe. But Death Note is definitely the kind of manga where it's worth it to own the complete story eventually (or rather until Vol. 7 / the end of the confrontation with L, at least, because if I'm to be honest, that always felt like the end of the actual top quality story it was to me ╮(￣▽￣)╭)

ohhhh so now we have a better idea of juhos backstory!! AND WOW DOES IT NOT LOOK PRETTY i feel like seowoo is the type of person who doesn’t care if they get caught (because they typically kiss in pretty public areas) and because of that became the reason of juho getting outed... and the fact that people are thinking juho was forcing himself on seowoo when they both consented and seowoo was the one insisting on doing it in an open space... wow. he also has the audacity to leave him to take all the backlash i really don’t like seowoo n i’m so glad juho worked his ass off to forget abt a prick like him!!
not you guys going full on savior mode on Yahwhi people are allowed to dislike his character omggg he literally had sex w mc when he was drunk and wasn’t able to consent properly as well as never being able to own up and apologize clearly to him?? he’s been treating him as an object this entire time, even his friend could see it (with him commenting how he needs to “step up his game” if that’s how he treats the people he’s interested with). it doesn’t matter if he doesn’t realize what he’s doing hurts mc because at the end of the day mc is already hurt and you can’t change to past to make it better. yes mc has been very vague with specifying what it is yawhi is doing wrong but at the same time he’s been played TWICE by this man and can choose to let him go if he is being too damaging in his life. anyways, i feel like everyones kinda in the wrong in this story (all of this authors stories have fucked up characters i stg) but the art is good so yeah
