Why should I pay for something which has frequent longass breaks? I find it ridiculous that people like you expect others to buy just because.
This manga only has 8 volumes published since it's debut in 2002. That's the rate of almost half a volume a year, when most manga have 3-4, so YA is 4-8 times slower than the rest.

Sorry to disappoint since the majority of your essay is seemingly about how I'm a damn thief, but I unlike the VAST majority of people actually support series'. My room is literally so full of merch/books/posters/dvds that I had to get 2 new cabinets to keep them in.
I support manga much more than you no doubt, I bet you imbecile bought one volume and think that is adequate support.
To clarify I have SERIOUS grievances with ViewFinder, I'm more a fan of YA than ViewFinder itself. I'm more inclined to buy her doujinshi than this POS series. The story is atrocious and I can't forgive the inconsistencies from the beginning of the series till now. Its like there is no plan for the series and YA has been winging it from the start.
After kidnapping and violently sexually assaulting Akihito, it turns out they knew each other since Aki was a kid? Give me a damn break!!
The only thing good about this series is the art. I might buy an art book if there is one, but certainly not the books.

She took a 2 year hiatus, the next chapter is confirmed to be out on Feb 28. The extra here isn't from the manga but from the novel. People are allowed to take breaks. 2 years is nothing compared to the 5+ year hiatus some artists take (sometimes due to sickness). we don't even know why she took the long break, maybe it's something she really needed (stress?sickness?family problems?) At least she still drop some extra for us from time to time, most artist stop all activity when they do hiatus. Just because she took a long break doesn't mean people have the right to spread her work illegally.
