Kangwoo couldn’t give uke the emotional stability that a partner should. One can’t survive on love alone. Adults need financial and emotional stability. And kangwoo had no ability to take charge like Gyu Tae.
Gye Tae is wayyy hotter, older, experienced, self-made financially stable, someone who could take charge and provide emotional stability that uke needed. While Kangwoo was young, inexperienced, got into relationship because of consideration, unable to take charge, go-with-the-flow kinda guy.
After the initial craze of teenage infatuation is over, the adult world comes. That’s when realization came to them, how incompatible they were.
We get to see hints of Kangwoo personality: laid back, go with a flow, scared, indecisive, uncertain, etc. 1st mistake he did, not be sincere with his feelings when uke confessed as Kangwoo just accepted because of being “considerate”. Uke was bound to have doubts that Kangwoo came in relationship because of force or consideration and not because he really did love uke.
2. We also saw how Kangwoo couldn’t provide emotional stability and become a pillar for uke as uke came out to his family and got big rejection. Kangwoo just stood there, uncertain, thinking uke is strong while uke was suffering inside and needed his partner to see him under that strong facade. This was a pivotal point. Gyu Tae was shown to able to read, discover the hidden uke much better than Kangwoo.
3. How Kangwoo didn’t even tell his friend that he was dating uke, their mutual friend, even in 8 years and how he never showed public affection to uke like Gye Tae did, and even got scared to accept the fact that he was dating a man, calling it gross in slip of tongue, speaks volume about how uncertain, scared, he was to accept the fact he was dating uke. While Gyn Tae openly showed affection to uke in public, even stood for uke in front of his family.
There are so many such hints, instances, shown in comic, it’s no wonder they’d break up. Only children here don’t understand and keep complaining how bad uke is. No, uke wasn’t the only imperfect one, Kangwoo was too. And Gyu Tae also.
Imperfect characters, characters with flaws, are the ones related to reality.

Well uke have this victim mindset in his relationship with kangwoo obviously... He should speak, have communication with kangwoo but he didn't... He KNOWS how kangwoo character, so he should just let kangwoo know his thoughts and feelings.... Not everyone is mind reader, sentimental and sensitive like uke...

If liked it then I recommend bl/mxm novel “FIRST INCISION BY JUSTINE SEBASTIAN”. Can b found in z-library or probably in vk too.
And manhwa : Love me, eat me https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/love_me_eat_me/

I love this kinda ML, baddie, meanie, possessive, protective, dominating, etc. I’m loving mc and ml interactions. The story is interesting, I’d love to read its novel translation.
But I’d appreciate if the translator, barcelogirl, who is translating this would be quite about their own interpretations/comments at every corner of manhwa. Childish. I appreciate the translations and hard work but they’re going overboard, so I finally had to say it.
Pls don’t put personal comments/interpretations in manhwa. It’s really distracting and annoying.
Looks interesting. When would it update?!
