If I remember it correctly, Luca’s mom is the grandaughter of the former emperor’s sister while Luca’s dad is the son of the former emperor’s daughter. So the mom and dad are technically 2nd cousins. Actually, idk how Luca and Charlotte are 5th cousins when Charlotte is the daughter of the current king, aka son of former king aka sister of Luca’s paternal grandmother aka first cousin of Luca’s maternal grandfather(iirc the former emperor’s sister had a son who is FLs and Luca’s mom’s dad).
