I think he actually really cares for her as a little sibling but he can’t show it, as we seen apparently he’s just “pretending” to protect and be nice to her. The thing is he isn’t supposed to show weakness either or he’ll die and Baal might eat him, I think he really cares for her but isn’t trying to show it but at the same time he isn’t sure of what he’s feeling because of the way he’s been raised. So when he says things like “Why am I feeling this way?” His real and non-existent emotions are mixing together especially when he’s with Anisa, to end this I think he cares for her but is on a bridge between Use her/act like I’m using her but I actually care for her.
