I’m so anxious for them

I love a good revenge story but I don’t think it’s a good idea to fight fire with fire. If you go into a new relationship while cheating to get revenge then that’ll ALWAYS haunt the relationship and hurt it long term. Once a cheater, always a cheater.

I kinda like the ML but I do think he’s pushing/“helping” the FL in all the wrong ways. Girl needs a break and he’s adding stress.

I feel like BLs have accustomed me to grape scenes so bad by the MLs that I was pleasantly surprised to see none in this story. Like the ML won’t even hurt a hair on MCs head (other than accidentally grabbing too hard).

I know a lot of people are complaining about how shit the ML is and I agree with you but it seems like he’s hasn’t told MC what his trauma is…and I can only assume the worst considering his
EXTREMELY bad reaction to men acting sexually to him. It takes a lot to overcome trauma so I’m surprised he is actually trying to get over it and make it up. Although I wish he’d just apologized instead making MC second guess everything.

Praying that the new guy who showed up and gave his jacket is the real ML or at least a strong alley who stays kind to MC;-;

For those saying that this story has been dragging out the trauma for too long. It’s not dragging out, it’s realistic. Healing from trauma is a life long process- it’s not fixed with the snap of a finger.

I really hope the ML doesn’t give in to Yigon because I want Yigon to escape so bad. Like this lifeline is rotting. Don’t trust the ML. He’s shit.

I can understand the brothers and fathers for hating the FL up to this point (NOT THAT I SUPPORT IT).

But it’s absurd to me that the little sister would switch up on her older sister like that out of nowhere. Like yeah, you learned something truly painful about your moms death but SHES ALREADY KNOWN YOUR SISTER WAY LONGER! Years even. I bet she barely even remembers her mom. She knows that the FL loves and cherishes her. Yeah, I can understand she might feel betrayed for a bit but it’s disgusting behavior.

lol is so funny to me that the prince is like “don’t fall in love with me” but then only does things to Luce that would make a normal person hate him. Like don’t worry, you make it easy, I think they’ll hate you instead.

I said “a normal person” because despite everything, Luce is probably experiencing heartache. I hope he doesn’t actually develop Stockholm syndrome and fall in love (or at least before the ML actually has some REAL character development). But if I’m being honest, I don’t think they should even end up together because of how trash the ML is.

Silver created a topic of The Foul

I’m so scared for MC. He’s literally just running on fumes right now. Like bro is breaking before our eyes.

I REALLY LIKE THIS STORY, DONT get me wrong but the jumps from serious to funny feels out of place. Like, the ML almost had a mental break down and then it just gets glossed over. I wish we were given more time to fully be immersed in the feeling. It makes me feel like we shouldn’t take the characters feelings seriously because they’ll be okay again in 2 seconds.

Omg I can’t already see Ludwig having a panic attack;-; poor baby

Silver created a topic of Retirement , Not Love!

MC lost the opportunity to tell the ML that true love DOESNT R@PE! Like hello, the bare minimum? Below the bare minimum. Like no, it’s not about the age or social gap. It’s the fact that the ML is FORCING himself on MC. I mean it’s not too late to tell the ML this but there was a perfect opportunity.

It’s sad but I really appreciate how well the author is portraying the many different ways people deal with abuse and overcome it. For Yeonwo, it’s to spiral into depression and become over emotional . For his best friend, (I forgot his name), it’s to become over protective. For Haesol it’s to forget and detach from emotions. For Haesoo, it’s to become extremely friendly and detach himself from the trauma all together.

It’s really sad to see all the characters go through this but we also see them heal and overcome it. Beautifully written.

I wish I had more middle fingers to flip off the king

I find it so funny that the princess is so surprised about Zig doing this as if Zig hasn’t been saying he’d do anything for Idris this whole time. Girl why are you so surprised? lol

FUCKING BITCH ASS DAD! I didn’t feel a thing when he coughed up blood. I hope you die faster

It makes me so happy to see him standing up for himself without any help and facing his trauma. I’m so proud of our MC :)

Haesoo right now is portrayed a TOTAL jerk but I think most people missed some VERY important things that lead up to this point.

First of all put yourself in Haesoo shoes. He’s been looking for his sister what sounds like a LONG time. When he finally finds her, she doesn’t remember him. He’s asks to speak to Haesol ALONE but HAESOLs friends didn’t want that. I don’t think he wanted to embarrass her in front of her friends- it just ended up that way.

Since Haesol didn’t remember him, he obviously he wanted to bring up memories that THEY share to help her recall. He starts out with memories that seem normal such as reading to Haesol and hide and seek but then HAESOL brings up the trauma FIRST when she talks about the bitter diet. He gets excited that Haesol is finally remembering and jumps on it by bringing up the water diet, their mom taking swings at THEIR heads etc. He’s obviously lost in his own thoughts and not paying attention to how Haesol is actually reacting.

Also, everyone saying that Haesol was the victim and Haesoo was just a bystander… please read more carefully and take better care to have a good reading comprehension. Haesol CLEARLY MENTIONS their water diet and the mom taking swings at THEIR heads. The whole reason Haesol was treated so poorly by their mom was because Haesol looked like their dad who SA-ed the mom. Now take a moment to think about how HAESOO who looks like an exact REPLICA of their father was treated?

This last part is pushing it a bit but I think the “hide and seek” Haesol mentioned is also related to trauma- Hiding from the mom.

Silver created a topic of Yeonwoo's Innocence

I’m actually surprised with the amount of people in the comments who are saying that Haesol is the ONLY victim and Haesoo wasn’t aware of it.

Haesoo is CLEARLY a victim too and from what I can tell. I’d even go as far as to say it’s probably worse than Haesol. For example he mentions “remember when she (I’m assuming the mom) used to swing at us?” I’d take it one step further to say that the hide in seek might have been hiding from the mom as well.

Keep in mind that their mother got SA-ed and that the reason Haesol was abused was because she looked like her dad. Now imagine how Haesoo, the exact replica of their father, was treat.

Both siblings just have VERY different ways with dealing with trauma. Haesol sounds like she has Dissociative amnesia (a memory disorder that causes people to forget traumatic or stressful events, including those from childhood). On the other hand, Haesoo sounds like he either has already gotten over the trauma and is making jokes about it (a perfectly normal response to deal with trauma); or, he doesn’t understand what normal actually is and is still struggling with how to deal with it. Either way, they’re SO OBVIOUSLY BOTH TRAUMATIZED!
