I have this thing called "side couple syndrome", where I become so invested in how Side couples get together. If side couples tend to have more drama than the main couple, THAT MAKES IT MORE CHEF'S KISS UGHHHH! I always find myself cheering on the side couples more than the main couple. I can't explain how much I LOVE SIDE COUPLES (๑•ㅂ•)و✧. But I REALLY hate it when side couples had an ambiguous relationship at the end of the stories. This happened to some of CN novels I read (T□T ;). Nevertheless I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO SHIHO AND AKI'S FUTURE DEVELOPMENT ON THEIR RELATIONSHIP! (=・ω・=)

I just found this manga today, and binge read it. It might just be me but Yoshizawa's case kinda reminds me of Mafuyu's from pjsekai but in a more twisted way...

I read the light novel volume 1...

I liked the story so I went to read the light novel. I was surprised how the manga and LN are different.
I liked the og FL in the manga and it's funny how much I hated her LN version
In the manga version we can see how our MC and OG FL can peacefully interact with each other, like how our MC subtlety try to cheer on the og FL and The OG FL also taking it as a kind thought of the MC. OG FL also treats our MC with kindness just like how she is designed be the heroine who is kind and with a pure heart. But oh boy in the LN SHE WAS A FREAKING STUBBORN LITTLE SHIT! THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I TRULY WISH THE MANGA NEVER FOLLOW THE LN. OG FL in the LN is stuck with this "she has dark powers so she must be evil through the core" kind of thinking. To the point (warning:major LN spoiler) she would stab our MC with the intention to completely kill HER!
The manga version of the OG FL is perfect, no need to follow the Retarded bastard version of the LN. And also with the Anime airing now, I greatly, AND STRONGLY HOPE THEY DON'T ADAPT THE LN VERSION OF THE OG FL.
Well calmly thinking about it, we can't be sure if the Manga will do a whole 360° turn and make me hate the OG FL like in the LN. So uhh yeah this whole comment is all about me TRULY hating on the OG FL of LN version
Also out of the trio love interest, the prince was the only one who had a change of heart, well kind of. He admits his mistakes and apologises to our MC later on, but still kind of spoils the retarded OG FL because he loves her, So yeah still hate him too. The muscle brain and four eyes is hopeless. Their ego is beyond help.
All of these only happens on volume 1 tho, So I'm off to read the 2 and 3. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

Pleaseeeeee spoil me about eumellia and Patrick..pleaseeeeee..and does eumellia seriously doesn't have a single person who cares for her except patrick even in the novel? I felt so bad for her. Her whole life in a completely new place was full of loneliness. What about eumellia's parents?

First of all, Eumiella and Patrick's relationship became official at the later parts of volume 1. Second, Eleanora has a potential to be someone who also cares about our MC but she is held back by her background as she is the daughter of the Duke. Eleanora trust our MC since she feels that Eumiella is the only genuine person to her. Eleanora is also easy to deceive(quite naive but it makes their interactions funny) so our MC doesn’t trust her. Well that's for now since I'm only at the 1/8 of volume 2. And lastly, HER PARENTS ARE ASSHOLES. They gave birth to her and left her all alone because THEY THINK SHE IS A BAD LUCK WITH HER BLACK HAIR! AND THAT'S NOT ALL, THEY ALSO TRIED TO KILL HER!! MOTHERFUCJLWKW! URGHHHHH AND THAT IS BECAUSE THEY THOUGHT SHE IS SIDING WITH THE KING'S FACTION. Her parents faction opposes the kings faction so when it was rumoured that our MC sides with the king, they became a laughing stock in their faction, well in fact that our MC is only under the protection of the King. So they decided to kill her since they don't want their selves to be on the bottom of the faction. SELFISHBASTARDS!! Haaa......
Oh also Rita, her maid, became terrifying loyal(to the point of wanting to sacrifice her own life) to her because of our MC saving her sister who was taken as a a hostage by the Parents.

First, you can try the one from novelupdates. I think you need to log in there to be able to access chapters. Also I think that is the Web Novel version. The WN is mostly the draft version of the story published by the author online. Most WN undergo changes when they become LN.

Second, you can download the Light Novel from jnovels. This one is what I'm reading because it is the actual LN, and I can read it offline.

i only read a summary of the spoilers from the LN and wasn't aware the manga made drastic changes which made it even better. i found the manga very lighthearted so when i read the LN spoilers that someone posted i was shocked to know that the OG FL along with the capture targets except the prince would die bc of the demon lord. bc of the changes in the manga currently, im wondering if the manga would also have a different ending and not go through with the death of the OG FL since OG FL in the manga looks at mc at a better light.
