I have this thing called "side couple syndrome", where I become so invested in how Side couples get together. If side couples tend to have more drama than the main couple, THAT MAKES IT MORE CHEF'S KISS UGHHHH! I always find myself cheering on the side couples more than the main couple. I can't explain how much I LOVE SIDE COUPLES (๑•ㅂ•)و✧. But I REALLY hate it when side couples had an ambiguous relationship at the end of the stories. This happened to some of CN novels I read (T□T ;). Nevertheless I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO SHIHO AND AKI'S FUTURE DEVELOPMENT ON THEIR RELATIONSHIP! (=・ω・=)
I just found this manga today, and binge read it. It might just be me but Yoshizawa's case kinda reminds me of Mafuyu's from pjsekai but in a more twisted way...

I liked the story so I went to read the light novel. I was surprised how the manga and LN are different.
I liked the og FL in the manga and it's funny how much I hated her LN version
In the manga version we can see how our MC and OG FL can peacefully interact with each other, like how our MC subtlety try to cheer on the og FL and The OG FL also taking it as a kind thought of the MC. OG FL also treats our MC with kindness just like how she is designed be the heroine who is kind and with a pure heart. But oh boy in the LN SHE WAS A FREAKING STUBBORN LITTLE SHIT! THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I TRULY WISH THE MANGA NEVER FOLLOW THE LN. OG FL in the LN is stuck with this "she has dark powers so she must be evil through the core" kind of thinking. To the point (warning:major LN spoiler) she would stab our MC with the intention to completely kill HER!
The manga version of the OG FL is perfect, no need to follow the Retarded bastard version of the LN. And also with the Anime airing now, I greatly, AND STRONGLY HOPE THEY DON'T ADAPT THE LN VERSION OF THE OG FL.
Well calmly thinking about it, we can't be sure if the Manga will do a whole 360° turn and make me hate the OG FL like in the LN. So uhh yeah this whole comment is all about me TRULY hating on the OG FL of LN version
Also out of the trio love interest, the prince was the only one who had a change of heart, well kind of. He admits his mistakes and apologises to our MC later on, but still kind of spoils the retarded OG FL because he loves her, So yeah still hate him too. The muscle brain and four eyes is hopeless. Their ego is beyond help.
All of these only happens on volume 1 tho, So I'm off to read the 2 and 3. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
