Tbh I dont feel like these chapters are intended to make us like or even sympathize with Sungha. To me the author is just fleshing out our main antagonist..and like, it seems so much more sinister that Sungha wants things to go back to normal and possess Sooin in that way again. If anything the background we were given about Sungha's past solidifies how much of a piece of shit he is
