This is just so good, I love the fantasy aspects and oml I didn't expect to like the bdsm so much...
This is so dark and angsty but it has a certain beauty to it. It's well drawn the characters are really well written and you get sucked into the story, and the amount feelings that you get while reading this is out of this world... you want to rip your heart out from disgust but also want to cry or have hope that everything will turn out fine and happy. This is a really great story, even though it makes you feel like shit

Because most ppl consume fiction to explore different (unrealistic) dynamics and escape reality? And at the end of the day it's just that, fiction. The story was actually cute and fluffy, maybe give it a try before judging? Or if you know that this dynamic isn't your cup of tee, maybe not leave a comment at all?

It's just about how the uke wanted to die then he didn'T died but he thought he did and that he was only dreaming about the past (whe he used to run) that dream helped him to remember and to give him courage to see the seme again. You can see in the endhe is happy and he run again with the seme
In the first few chapters rape has been brought up numerous times, and that makes me uncomfortable... And the scene where they were locked up in a room (?), and they end up having sex while the uke says no made me uncomfortable too... Am I the only one feeling this way? And am I overreacting?
It's actually huge to get rape acknowledged like this. Your discomfort is very understandable, as far as omegaverses go, this is one of the purer ones.
I'd say it's fair for anyone to feel uncomfortable, after all, neither of them wanted to have sex then and there, and it is both of their fault, Tsugumi's for absolutely refusing to take suppressants even for his own sake, and Megumi's for thoughtlessly approaching Tsugumi when he was in heat, losing control due to the pheromones. At this point, they've understood that it was really an unfortunate thing, and have moved on with a mentality of "what's done is done". But your feelings are absolutely fair as this type of scene can trigger many people...

I also don’t know why would people expect the ML to be a green flag when he kills people for a living + he grew up hating the world. It’s a mafia story… that has actual murder in the story but somehow the rape matters more than the corruption, killing, manipulation, kidnapping etc
i put it rather mean in my comment, i am a sucker for mafia stories where the mafia is head over heals for the mc such as Dangerous Convenience Store. so i kind of hoped it would be like that. and honestly i am someone who likes to read stories with fluffy relationships. so lets just say this isnt trash for everyone, but that i just think its not good.
its just for me that i dont like the story''forgeting'' the rape (the rape was a bit glossed over imo, and not seen as bad), and rape just feels more morally wrong than murder. but this is just a personal opinion, thats why i called it trash. Tbf your opinion is valid since not everyone is gonna like dark romance but the difference between this and dangerous convenience store (dcs) is with dcs from the start you can tell that it’s going to be a fluffy and wholesome whereas this one from the start you can tell it’s going to be pretty violent.

I never said that rape *is* more morally wrong I said that it *feels* more morally wrong. And I never said that I'm okay with murder. I don't like both but I made this claim because I'm more uncomfortable with rape than murder.
I agree with you saying that this is not my cup of tea. But this was just my way expressing what my thoughts were of the story. I couldve put it more nicely, but on the other hand I never said anyone else was bad for liking it? Me calling it trash was never meant to call the people trash who read it.

This blew up way more than I thought, my only point was that this genre of romance has a darker theme and mature content. Aint nobody said murder or r4pe is morally ok nor beneath the other. Its just that this type of fiction literally just harbors such content, nobody said that non consensual sex/rape is to be enjoyed in this content. Its just that it EXISTS, thats all there is to it, how are some people having a hard time to understand it.
