Most people that rated it are people who either don't get what's happening, or read it very early on. I, too, rated it pretty low when I thought that the spear guy was the mc. But I changed my rating when the series further updates

Honestly... It's not that good it's actually pretty disappointing. It had potential but the potential just got wasted, the secretary plot was kinda weird, the father actually being kinda nice and self sacrificing was kinda iffy. It just wasn't that good. It kept me fairly entertained but that's the only thing it did decent in...
This is definitely a reccomend, the story is good and the mc is one hell of a fun guy!! his personality and actions make the story enjoyable and entertaining to read. so if youre thinking of reading it, dont hesitate and just start reading trust me

In the first few chapters rape has been brought up numerous times, and that makes me uncomfortable... And the scene where they were locked up in a room (?), and they end up having sex while the uke says no made me uncomfortable too... Am I the only one feeling this way? And am I overreacting?
It's actually huge to get rape acknowledged like this. Your discomfort is very understandable, as far as omegaverses go, this is one of the purer ones.
I'd say it's fair for anyone to feel uncomfortable, after all, neither of them wanted to have sex then and there, and it is both of their fault, Tsugumi's for absolutely refusing to take suppressants even for his own sake, and Megumi's for thoughtlessly approaching Tsugumi when he was in heat, losing control due to the pheromones. At this point, they've understood that it was really an unfortunate thing, and have moved on with a mentality of "what's done is done". But your feelings are absolutely fair as this type of scene can trigger many people...
