Yes, temperature can be checked with an rectal thermometer.. they were used a lot before digital ones because babies and kids could accidentally break the thermometer by biting it.. it's also considered one of the most accurate ways to measure a person's core body temperature since it is a bit higher than the oral

It was so well written and I’m so glad that it did not outrightly show the abuse that it was more implied because it wasn’t just about that is this is not torture porn. This is a real story.
Exactly it felt like the author personally knew someone or even has experienced such things themselves they had such an understanding of the character and how SA doesn’t always lead to self enclosed and depressive behavior but can even result in hyper sexuality and that to me was very realistic.

Man, this is a convoluted love story, shrouded in déjà vu. I love that we were kept in the dark with the main character, but low-key I feel like we should’ve got a little bit more you know foreshadowing cause I felt like I was being gaslit because there was two ways that this could’ve went for me this could’ve went the amnesia route like he doesn’t remember her previously having a whole relationship But then towards the end, I was like oh this has to be a reincarnation time reversal route, but then get it into a flashback. Oh things just got worsahhh and worserrrrrr I cried
