translations off but ts is still peak. honestly ive seen worse translations
Translations were absolute shite in the beginning there not sure how you could have seen worse. But they improve later on.
gosh i hate this comment section. were some of you guys even reading this at all?? seeing some of ygs have trauma competitions between leila and sion is so weirdddd. the author had both leila and sion’s point of views for a reason. both sides were valid, like i saw in another comment if sion is her killer, leila is his tormentor.
“Both sides were valid”. So what exact thing did Lelia do to deserve being murdered the first time? You know the murder that triggered all these events. What did she do to Sion that was so awful she deserved to die by his hand? The answer is nothing but I guess we can forget about the fact Lelia’s only sin was trying to survive. Not for nothing, Sion reliving his trauma over and over again was a direct consequence of his own actions. If he didn’t try to murder Lelia, none of this would have happened to him. I get he suffered, I’m not saying he didn’t but to call Lelia his “tormentor” when all she’s tried to do was survive his revenge murder on her family (who also tormented her and she actively didn’t like as well) is such a ridiculous and victim blaming mentality.
Exactly!! Its fine to accept that Sion is wrong for murdering her not just once but a few times despite knowing how she was treated by her family. Yes maybe he has trauma but its still wrong and laila did NOTHING wrong accept being a victim of the situation
what did sion's ENTIRE family do to deserve getting burned alive? what did his family do that was so awful she deserved to die by leila's dad. sion did what leila's dad did to him. which is why BOTH SIDES ARE VALID. i dont understand why you guys dont seem to acknowledge that.
No, Sion’s family didn’t ask to be murdered but that doesn’t justify him enacting his revenge on innocent people. You never mention Lelia’s actions, only her fathers. Do you think Lelia’s opinion doesn’t matter in all of this? Lelia’s father murders Sion’s family, which is awful and shouldn’t have happened. So you are saying Sion is valid to just go and murder his family. What about Lelia’s feelings seeing as she had no part in killing his family? She didn’t get to choose her father, so why does she have to pay the ultimate price of his wrong doings? She couldn’t stop her father since she’s a child, she’s also abused by her father, and she gets murdered by Sion seeking revenge on her father. How is any of that fair to her? How is Sion valid for that? Also just because Sion’s family is murdered, doesn’t mean he gets to go around killing people like that’s justified. It’s unfortunate what happened to Sion’s family but that gives him no right to murder an innocent person over and over again. There is a reason why we don’t have Hammurabi’s code dictating the justice system. An eye for an eye leaves everyone blind.
Just to be crystal clear, I get what happened to Sion’s family was beyond evil. He does deserve to see justice be brought to the villains but idk why you think that validates his revenge murder spree. He could have stopped at her father but no he wants to wipe the entire family out of existence, regardless of their involvement in the atrocity. Two senseless acts of violence are just that, two senseless acts of violence. One can never justify the other and it leaves more people broken than fixed.
i dont believe what sion did was justified. murder is murder. leila didnt deserve to die, and i never said she did. my point was about WHY the story shows both perspectives, not to excuse their actions, but to humanize their choices. when i say both sides are valid, i mean BOTH experiences are valid. yes, leila was a child, abused, and had no say in her fathers crimes. she didnt deserve anything that happened to her. but sion was also a child who watched his ENTIRE family burn to death, which obviously broke him. which isnt making it justice, but tragedy. thats why no one really wins. sion became the thing that destroyed him and the fact that he chose revenge over healing is exactly why the cycle continues. im not rooting for either of them to be "right." im js saying the story is PURPOSELY written to make u see how pain warps people and turns victims into villains. thats what makes BOTH perspectives important.

this is genuinely so disappointing to see. why did the author make it so that the years of abuse the fl had taken from her father had suddenly disappeared. i can't help but choose to drop this manhwa. i myself have faced years of abuse from my father and it seems like the author wants to justify abuse like that. this would've been better if the author didn't do that.
