idc if anyone disagrees but his character hard carried this story. i was moved, he was such a well written male lead. if it weren't for his character this would've been sht, the rest of them pissed me off so bad, i wanted to drop it but i liked how tae seok was written so i managed to pull through.

i went to this blind, i saw the cover art style and immediately hopped on ch1. i was expecting dark psychological story but i didn't expect there would be some sprinkle of horror here and there.
i also find the story telling here really engaging, usually i can't stomach heavy psychological stuff like this but there are writers who write them in such interesting ways i can't describe (e.g oyasumi punpun, aesthetic of unpleasantness, a cruel god reigns, stigma etc.) and i feel that way with this one too, i just hope it won't go downhill.
this isn't the usual reck art style that i was used to but anyway, i'm not sure if I'm liking the flow of the story. i feel like jiho's feelings toward yoojoon were so abrupt - the buildup was poorly executed, i think. it kinda ruined my immersion to the story a tinyyy bit.
i was also curious about why jiho was captivated by eunjung's brother's cologne. was it something that reminded him of his mom, or could the smell be connected to how he sees yoojoon? or was it simply a scent of temptation? it was just a little detail that i wanted to know but it was never explained, or maybe i just missed it...
I am also kinda sad that reck left behind their very distinctive drawing style :( now it's a mix of reck's old drawing style and dell studio's drawing style, i assume it's because they had a collab before
i get you, their current art style is still pretty but i really do prefer their prev art style more. i just hope the change in art style is only for this series, and not because they find their previous style boring now. a lot of artists do feel that way about their work sometimes, which would be kinda crazy in reck's case. i mean, hate mate, merry go round, and digitalis are all a feast for the eyes, artistically! so if they leave that style completely, i'd be sad but if reck doesn't fuck with it anymore i'll respect it.

I totally agree I’m still confused on the whole perfume thing and why out of nowhere he wanted to bang the girls brother but nevertheless I feel like it has to be connected with ml because it was probably a way to suppress his feelings for him , there were many moments where blond guy was saying how no one cared about him instituting that he want to be seen. reading this line was painful. whatever is going on with heart and victor hurts me in a good way, i'm all for it. like smut is good and all but misery? yearning? all because of love? 10/10 very fitting concept for "heart".
it's also quite interesting how victor wants to be loved and there's someone just right beside him who would absolutely love him with all that he has but victor recoils at his touch and only ever take that person's love for granted. i hope heart does try to understand himself more and atleast try to like someone else in S2. victor needs a LONG chasing arc for how shitty he was to heart.
