I told my parents very soon. At first they were like: Huh? BL, really? And then I explained why we love it and they understood. My mum wanted to try reading some but couldn't work with the right to left reading....
Well my parents really don't like gays and lesbians like they're some sort of a disease that I should avoid nad that really hurt my feelings. Even way back when I still don't know yaoi they said gays and lesbians are a sin to God because girls are for boys and boys are fow girls and etc. etc.
Sorry for that. Well even though we are christians my parents are kind of open to that. They wouldn't jump happyly if I told them I was Bi but they would sooner or later accept it. If you want I can give you half of mine and you give me half of your parents :)
