Ren, my poor baby. ♡♡♡ Iku! Go, Iku! You tell him, son!
EDIT : I've been thinking a lot about Haru. I remember Kiyoka telling Ren (vaguely and I believe that it's chapter five) that Haru changed after he met the older woman he dated. I believe that we're seeing the true Haru, the internal Haru. He's a good liar and Kiyoka has outright called him a cheapskate. But I confess that I wish he hadn't forgot about Ren and what love he gives Haru. This whole reversal of Haru's is the flip side of Ren's and, as I can only speak for myself, but I feel like they need this, or they'd never grow, like Haruko has said. I love Mori-sensei's take on this whole ordeal...But I confess that I despise his (Haru's ) cruelty and meanness towards Ren at the moment. I have wondered why Haru hasn't been hospitalized and undergone intensive psychiatric therapy in a setting he can't get away from
I don't believe that all his neuroses are Ren's fault, nor do I believe that Haruko is the sole source of Haru's issues. AndI sure as hell think I'm gonna need a stiff, strong drink while reading these next chapters.
The poor guy is always two fries short of a full happy meal and no one seems to know how to fix the issue. I hope that Mori-sensei and the Kaidou kyoudais find his answer soon and he remembers Ren. . When you fall like that, there is damage. ..it's a closed head injury and it causes all kinds of hell for the victim. In this case, both are victims of circumstances beyond their control .It can take up to ten years for symptoms from a closed head injury to show. I do hope that Haru heals and that the love between them blossoms. .
I think Iku was correct in what he said to Haru, because he loves him and tough love sometimes isn't a sin, but a blessing. Everyone is waiting for Haru's miraculous healing, but I am looking forward to seeing how this unfolds and I have the feeling it's going to get a hell of a lot darker before the light.
I think it's gonna be Ren who surprises us all.
I have even come to feel sorry for Asakura-san, who should also be under psychiatric care, but I still really dislike her because of what she's done to the boys. That will be an interesting chapter, I am sure .
This entire piece just made me happy. It is beautiful, inside out. I have rarely read something like this that radiates inner peace, but by gosh, it sure does! Love, love, love, love, love.
