I'm reading the novel now (thanks to another reader) because I'm impatient but this chapter is surprisingly pleasing. This is one of the rarest times that Kael shows a bit more of his emotions. People are complaining about Helios, but honestly I'm here for it only to see how Kael would respond. ALTHOUGH, I wish it could've been another character because it's shitty if Heli wants to steal her when he already had Diana (Kael's previous love) and personally, I'd be so pissed too.
But another side of me wants to see Kael fight for her, just for a bit. Hestia has dedicated her entire existence to do everything in his favor and I think it would be interesting to see how he can handle potential competition (especially since it could be Helios which would be worse)
