For me it just don’t seem that way. They really just seem as two friends for me. Im all for representation but harassing the author to force the ships ain’t it. It’s like the whole voltron thing over again. Making characters lgbt more for the straight girls than the lgbt community.

The BNHA fandom has always been extremely toxic (guys with its hentai and girls with gay ships) Horikoshi always knew that and this isn't the first time this is happening. Who ends up with who is the decision of the author. Regardless of how much anyone tries to influence his decision, I don't think it's going to change. But on the other hand, Horikoshi often ends up censoring LGBTQA+ characters or making it confusing so that his series would be popular in Japan (they can't show homosexuality in shounen series due to issues) A bit of representation is better than many others who completely deny it, I guess. So, we can't really point out say exactly whether a character is gay or not. If Horikoshi makes someone homosexual/trans etc, then he probably has been planning for that all along. Personally, I still feel like there is more going on between Kirishima and Bakugo though than just friends.

They're not at all canon until there is actual proof that they are dating/have feelings for each other. "well I feel like they are" isn't enough to make it canon.

So far all ships are fan ships because Horikoshi hasn't confirmed any of them (other than ochaco having feelings for Deku but you can't have a ship with just one person).

Can’t believe we all just be happy with the plot line and action and story, add wonderful to each one of that, horikoshi gives to us.. i do ship some pair but not to the extent to extremely want or hope it become canon.. the authors decision is their own right cause the characters are his own.. we can still ship them even without having it to be canon

I'd actually prefer if they didn't make my ships canon because it would totally ruin the flow of the series like most, if not all, ships would ╮(￣▽￣)╭ I mean, this is supposed to be a shounen manga, not romance. I'm here for the sick battles and character growth, not kissing and cuddling.

Yea ppl on Twitter when talking abt horikoshi saying it somewhere in an interview maybe. And who knows I mean naruto started with them as young kids and growing up. And deku is still only a freshman. And we have yet to see other characters development. Also all mights death could be dragged out for all we know and when it happens there will probably be a big turning point arc

HONESTLY! As much as I ship BakuDeku, it doesn't make any sense for either of them to date anyone. Hell for anyone in the class to date anyone. ( like maybe Kaminari or Mineta but) They are all working hard towards their goals to become heroes. They don't have time to date and all that. I don't even think Bakugo or Deku even think about anything other than their goal to become heroes. What's canon is that they care too much about their goals to spend time wasting it with a significant other.

I'm a shipper, but I don't actually want them to be canon if it's gonna be detrimental to the development of the story and the characters, or if it's gonna become a pandering. If that was what the creator intended, that's fine with me. But not if he's doing just to please a fraction of very vocal fans. I also think that maybe he should take some break from Twitter, a lot of fans there are really toxic. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

Horikoshi May or May not include the school years but I think the “school part” is going to pan in for a looonngg time if he’s gonna pace it like naruto. There may be a time skip to where all might dies in his final fight and possibly a lot of characters die. Although I’m wondering if horikoshi is gonna have a lot of important ppl die like in naruto. Cus there has only been two deaths I guess you could say for “important people” and a bunch of nomu deaths
