I've been seeing comments about Tracy's attitude towards Ash. Although yes, what Tracy did was harsh considering he did help her, but if you've actually read one of the chapters where Tracy justified her stance as to why Ash was treated like that.
Ash being in a cage was because he is a criminal. Also, if you look at their statuses, Ash is a refugee and is currently living in the slums so him being treated badly stems from that.
Plus, if you look at it. Tracy did what she did, Ash picks which side looks promising. Ash isn't loyal and Tracy needed a loyal subordinate.
And also, it's kind of weirdly refreshing to see that the boy from the slums becomes the villain instead of becoming the FL/MC's loyal knight trope.

see, it's better that he lost this one. it's not about the life and death situation, it's about jiwoo growing up to become independent.
this had so much potential and it all went just like that.
it didn't even had proper storybuilding, everything was rushed, character bonding was nearly non-existent, revenge wasn't enough, even the villains didn't get their supposed bad ending.
other than the artstyle suddenly got an upgrade, it was absolute shit, wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless you did it as a prank.
