No i totally get what you’re saying. I believe the author had a purpose to put that scene in chapter 1, but by the mc brushing it under the rug while the ml didn’t really, it did seem a bit unneeded as you were saying in your original comment. It seemed like the ml cared more about it and was more affected than the mc lol so the purpose of the scene really only showed in the ml, not in the mc- which makes it seem weird and random a bit.
Tbh I dropped mid ch3 cause I was so annoyed. But gave it another chance and yeah I see the arc and his torment. Crazy cause now I like Travis and dislike the prince lol. So now, yeah, slightly less of a hater. But still… rape bad.
