Well we kind of already know. His dad was extremely abusive threatening to burn him to death. When he was 8 apparently he already had a third stepmother. Eventuallyhe killed his father. It's possible the dad was also a psychopath. Even extremely traumatized children don't really do something like killing a pet or a parent unless they have similar psychopathic tendencies (ie a lack of empathy and conscience).
I'm not sure why he's so focused in Ah-In though, he calls him a sacred being and I thought that's because he is blind but that might not be the case after all.
I'm afraid the villain will "love" Ah-In the way he "loved" his dog: by making it sick and then punishing it for being sick...

*spoiler* They will have a daughter :) there is a side story as well showing that Lucia and hugo are really destined to meet and end up together even without Lucia dreaming of what happen in the future. It also shows that if Lucia did not meet Hugo early, Damien will be sent to subdue some barbarian and will die at the age of 19 or 20 i think. I forgot. Overall, it is a happy ending :)

In my opinion, yes, what she saw in her dreams is actually what should have happen in the future. One example why I believe so is.. *may contain spoilers* she met Phillip (Taran's family doctor) in her dreams in some remote village while living there and after she heard that he is an excellent doctor, she decided to seek medical advice regarding her case (infertility). She confess to Phillip in her dreams that she consume mugwort (herb that stops bleeding) as soon as her menstruation starts ( you will know why she consume it). Then, Phillip explained that there is still a way to cure it. Phillip shared/passed down to Lucia his family secret or ingredients/process how to make the cure (this is actually the process how ordinary woman or woman which is not a Taran was able to conceive Taran's child). Later in the current timeline, Lucia will tell Hugo about her dreams as well as the time she met Phillip and the process/cure that Phillip told him. Then, Hugo told Phillip about mugwort and how it is use for ordinary woman to be able to conceive Taran's child. And,ofc, Phillip was really shock how was Hugo able to know this information when it is Phillip's family secret that pass down generation by generation only within their family ( you will also know learn why Hugo have to confirm to this with Phillip). Sorry this is kinda difficult to understand/read ahahah i'm not really good with story telling lol.
Im really hurt thinking how hurt the real Eris to the point of wishing to just disappear. I wonder what happen to the real Eris. I also like the white-haired girl. It is just that the prince is a real jerk. Gosh. So no matter what happen in the ending, i believe that it was the best end.
