That arguing arc felt so real tbh it’s not something you often see in bls - it’s usually soooo short and so many things aren’t ever said
The fact that both firmly hold on to their belief in that argument is amazing. I understand and sympathise with both sides. Wuiwu doesn't want to take chances hurting Jaejin and Jaejin feeling betrayed by 1st wuiwu for taking his memory.

Very obviously I feel like this story isn’t supposed to be read as a romance, but more of a killing-stalking/surah’s lover type of psychological drama. Like focusing on how he became a psycho is not to try and really make his current behavior okay but more so to make it clearer that this story isn’t about love or anything like that. So yeah I get ppl saying that « oh his actions still can’t be excused » but that’s lowkey the whole point. It’s meant to be a tragic, sad and violent story full of unfortunate circumstances. Not a « oh he treats the one he loves badly because he was abused poor him ;( » but really about setting the scene for how far a twisted and traumatized mind can go… and illustrating the worst-case scenario ever.
