Be it the friend, or the main characters, not a single one of them got on my nerves which feels so good.
And it might be controversial but I like the fact that the misunderstanding went on for most of the story because it’s highkey the whole plot, and also because in real life it’s legit more normal that you wouldn’t rlly confess to someone if you are convinced they have another love interest and they tell you everything they like about them (mc), or like if they go through a roster of girlfriends which can rightfully be understood as a clear sign that the person is not gay (ml). But the transition to physical intimacy in the last ch was def very random and rushed lol
And idc if it’s cheesy but the « let me be super sweet to you » scene legit made my heart melt

This has genuinely put me in the foulest mood the r scene was so painful to read, and the sudden 180 degrees change of the ml that becomes this completely devoted lover after doing the absolute most and r’ing the mc is too easy like a few « sorry
That was so traumatizing to read my heart breaks for ahjin the ml just turned into a monster especially with everything that’s still yet to come in this story (from what I’ve gathered of the spoilers) - honestly I’m really thankful to those that have read the novel and told us the rest of the plot or else I would’ve never been ready it’s just heartbreak after heartbreak
The brother is too good to be true i want to stop right here and not see wtv plot twist/redemption arc is coming. Mc and the brother escaping is my happy ending.
Now this one is a special kind of dumb so if you’re just looking for smut go ahead but this story here doesn’t deliver much else. It’s just a very smutty harlequin, very flowery and cheesy.
I’m used to toxic/crazy seme tropes but this one… he’s just so lame that I don’t really understand how inseob managed to actually fall harder for him… okay he’s cute but he’s also an unpredictable nightmare. And inseob’s fully aware. Like you literally studied his shitty behavior for revenge, so no one knows his evil ways like you do, but you’re still getting romantically involved with him?
Love the vulnerability… what he’s saying is going straight to my heart and it hurts so good… I actually want to cry so yeah props to the author for provi us with a good and realistic amnesia trope

I don’t know how to explain this, but I think this manga is truly close to perfection and perhaps the ultimate omegaverse. Be it the detailed and clear art style, or the pacing and development of their relationship, this is I believe the best omegaverse I’ve ever read. Maybe it’s also because I read stupid sht that makes me lose braincells all the time, but idk this one hit different. I truly felt immersed in their story, and the way nothing is glossed over feels so real. The way their dynamic was actually questioned and the way they both always try their best to be open about their thoughts and feelings leads to such touching moments.
The manner in which they both change as a result of each other’s influence highlights how you cannot simply expect someone to be your perfect fated soulmate from the get-go but rather that through time and effort you’ll become the tailored version of you that will be the perfect match for your partner. And this while still being 100% yourself, never compromising your own person, just evolving for the better. And this manga proves that it doesn’t have to be the regular toxic relationship to redemption arc dreamy fluffy trope to show us that. Like in this story, it can also be your partner coming to fully respect your boundaries and independence. Plus it presents the impact of trauma on how someone could react to certain aspects of relationships so well, be it at the start of the story, or with the various thoughts mc has about feeling envious of the differences in their upbringing once their relationship is established, or also his discomfort with being included in a picture perfect family when just sharing a meal with all of them can be so nerve wracking and triggering. And many more things but I’m already yapping enough lol
I still don’t know how to explain the emotions this one gave me. Truly a 5 stars story for now. (I’ll have to add that this is not a very original plot but I feel like it’s truly not the main focus of this manga, imo the author’s focusing more on the form than the content and it’s great).
