Was looking forward to a crazy yandere MC, but ngl, she’s kinda cringe. Obviously she has some mental issues but the way she’s written with her monologues, it makes her seem like some hard bad ass, but once she’s in actual danger she can’t do shit, like she’s just an edge lord. The way her expressions are drawn doesn’t help either, makes her look like she’s way over her head. It’s honestly kinda cringey to read through. I hope it gets better later on though

I am so glad to see a good chunk not fully hating Regef too. The siblings grew up in such a fcked up environment and I don’t blame them for what they became. Def not excusing what Regef did to Kayena’s nanny though. Still, really hope there’s some sort of happy ending for the both of them
I followed this series for so long but dropped it… Decided to pick it up and again for ol times sake and just damn. This is definitely Ogawa’s level of dark, but I feel so unsatisfied. It just felt like Ogawa was trying to wrap up the series as quick as possible and so made it feel like the whole caste system game was for nothing. All the bullying, rape and torturing each other was just for the edginess… Glad I can say I finally finished this series tho
