I think this had some great potential to get some good character and plot development, but it felt like the author wrapped up what could have been a potential second season into 5 chapters. Once you get to chapter 19-20 it felt like it could have ended the first season there and left on a cliffhanger for a new season but my theory is the author was told there would be no second season or they wanted to just finish this quickly and be done with it (even the author's afterword was short and rushed lol...).
If you were intrigued by the potential side couple like I was, sad to say nothing really happens there as they pretty much disappear by the last 6 or so chapters and are never seen again.
Felt like the author just kept throwing twists that I didn't even feel like any character was even genuine in their feelings/confessions? things kept happening too fast and you're not sure what to feel, so I wasn't even sure what character to root for here; they were all kinda hallow tbh.
the best character development throughout the whole thing was the rumors. since they just kept growing and growing >_>
So I'm glad I wasn't alone in thinking the whole concept of the company and what exactly the jobs of the angels/demons entailed because the explanations were very confusing? I'm not sure if that was on the translator's part though. The cube thing made even less sense as you read on. I liked how there was a variety of characters that were all interesting and each character had their profile in certain chapter introductions but it was hard remembering what exactly their job/function was.
I did enjoy reading this however, the art was beautiful. I liked the pairings and their stories, I just think I would have enjoyed this a lot more if I understood wtf was going on 80% of the time lol.
