This is just a oneshot based on another manga by Ogawa-sensei called "Boku no Papa ni Natte Kudasai" (Please Be My Daddy) which unfortunately has not been translated. The younger fellow Haruki is looked after one day after he passes out from exhaustion from work by the older man Katsumi. He's touched by Katsumi's kindess and ends up asking him to be his "papa" in order to make up for the absence of his own father in his childhood, and Katsumi agrees and they do a lot of cute father-son things together. Hopefully someone gets around to translating it.
So from the time of me writing this, it's just another couple of weeks. I'm so excited to see how it ends, but at the same time I'm not ready to say goodbye :') I've been reading this one since 2019 and I watched the anime later on and I just adore it! It's such a cute, feel-good manga with a slew of lovable characters (with the exception of his insufferable, unfunny little sister) and it's so easy to pick up and read. Even though it's very unlikely, I wish this could get animated again so we can see the rest of the characters like Agari and Goromaru onscreen ><
There's something super charming about this one. As dark as it may seem, I feel like it's gonna be mixed with a sort of lighthearted vibe. I mean, his crush is having an out-of-body experience and appears in his house of all places looking like a snack-and-a-half (despite the bigass bullet wound.) That's a recipe for some hijinks right there.

So the story has currently taken yet ANOTHER weird turn in the original Chinese serialization, and to no surprise, the readers are really fucking mad lmao. Of course, crappy Google Translate can't do their comments much justice, but the general consensus is that people are absolutely flaming in the comments about how the author needs to stop with the pointless and ridiculous plot strays, that they've wasted their money and time on a membership for the manhua (some for just this manhua alone), some are even speculating that the writer/s have changed. But most of all...they're begging for Uncle Shen to come back. Yep, he's disappeared yet again, this time completely (perhaps payback for that whole time Fu was gone lmao.) But yeah, bottom line is the Chinese readers are seriously just as frustrated as the international readers are with where the story is heading. It's even more frustrating since the manhua had JUST gotten to a really good, exciting point and suddenly the author decided to pull a total 180 (again.) Honestly...as much of a huge fan of this manhua as I am, even deciding to continue uploading it, it really is frustrating to see it go through so many bizarre twists and turns (especially with agonizingly slow rate of the English chapters,) and I've seen quite a few comments recently talking about how they're tired and want to drop it. The Chinese readers most definiely share your sentiments, and hopefully the author sees the overwhelming feedback and criticism and tries their best to respond appropriately through the rest of the story. It really is an adorable, wholesome and super fun story, so to everyone who's still pushing through and reading it, y'all are awesome and I really do think our patience will be rewarded eventually ^^

There is actually a second volume with 3 more chapters! It seems like Renta never published it in English, but it's available in Japanese on Amazon and other sites. Perhaps a kind soul would consider purchasing the raws and translating it sometime.

I just realized that they finally removed the “Gender Bender” from here! I also removed it last week from the Baka-Updates entry, because obviously this isn’t a gender bender story lol...I think it’s the summary that made people assume it was. But I do think that a “Supernatural” tag should be added instead.

I still think the story was a mess. Everything just happened so fast and there were some parts that were simply confusing. And the fact that all the characters are drawn like Digimon kids STILL bugs me. The character designs make them all look the same age. The last time I commented my thoughts, I got downvoted to oblivion, and someone replied that "this is overhyped because it deserves to be since it has the best representation." That's a valid opinion, but so is mine. I really think there are other stories out there with great story-telling and plotlines and also feature great representation! (and character designs that don't get under my skin lol.) The backgrounds are absolutely beautiful, though, I'll give it that. (Disclaimer for those who can't stand hearing different opinions: This doesn't mean I'm trashing the manga, or discrediting it. Clearly the mangaka is quite talented and worked hard on it. I personally just didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would after seeing the majority's reaction to it.)
I don't understand why there's this weird flux of shounen/seinen manga on here that are incorrectly tagged as "shoujo." This is definitely NOT a shoujo. This is a shounen. Just because there's a cute girl with bright-coloured hair on the cover doesn't make it a shoujo. A quick search of titles on Baka-Updates before uploading a new manga can help you tag the entries appropriately without grouping them incorrectly. It's really frustrating to go through the shoujo tag and find a bunch of titles that shouldn't be there.

I saw it listed before and the synopsis seemed interesting but because I'm a total dumbass with Alzheimers, I completely forgot the title and didn't bother adding it to my lists :') I'm pretty sure the summary said something like a dude who brings home a rabbit but then the rabbit is actually a rabbit boy? And becomes his roommate? And it wasn't tagged as BL, either. I know it's vague but honestly, I just glanced over the summary thinking I'd come back to it right away but alas I'd really appreciate any help finding it!!

Please be patient and try not to post the remaining chapters all at once (I understand you might mean well) but I think it's best if we keep it at the same pace I've been uploading before so a) there's enough time for the chapters to be purchased/favorited on the original platform--gotta support the author! and b) I can guarantee an update every Sunday rather than keep everyone waiting and confuse them with sudden bulk updates. The raws are up to the 100's now and I believe the English translation is picking up quicker, so we'll hopefully be caught up soon, just be patient <3 My finals started today so another kind user uploaded 65-67 instead of me, but from now on, it'll be one chapter every Sunday like before ^^
