For humains yes I agree with you but when u see amon pov his dragon side and personality how he doesn't have family or friends it explain à lot of things but sadly too late in the story , like he gets missunderstood many times
I wana see the side story's too , for us readers we understand that amon was misunderstood by nine and vice-versa because of the evil priests

Finished the novel and omg this is so gooood. I fear this adaptation won't give justice to the novel tbh. There's so much inner dialogue and overall scenes that I'm sure won't be included. All i can say that this mc is by far the strongest ,the ml needs therapy, and that kim young jin proly the best side character in this story. Their story is super sad tho :(
