Letty want to find out how to counter the black sea to save Kannagis and the island people.
But based on the lab test, the water is just simple sea water.
So whatever happens related to the black sea that harm or take possession on people are spiritual/paranormal.
Kanoe think just him and Letty in the island won't be enough to deal with this so he invited his friend there to help.
People of the island has been brainwashed since they are born. And it was more intense on the Kannagi it seems.
From what it seems, Alto is probably born between a man possessed by a black sea creature and the woman from this island.

I completely agree with the last part. frankly speaking, I don't find the plot that exciting and the abuse she had to suffer was just too much for it to end up like "she broke his heart and kept his baby". NAH bestie that's just not it for me.
The ending isn't satisfying but realistic I guess maybe it was the abuse and him being untouchable that made me so angry. All and all it definitely isn't worth a 9.5 stars rating IMO

i agree!! the plot is iffy, and i feel like i can see where people come from. dan liking jaekyung even though he was an *sshole, it’s f7cked. but, somewhere, i hope something went wrong with the translation. the author is a genius, i’ll be the one to say. bj alex to jinx is INSANE.
