Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed it a lot, it put me through a good roller coaster and I’m happy that Mr Lee got to be happy, but my mouth tastes bitter after reading the ending because I just don’t see how their relationship could work out in the longer run, there’s still many plot holes that haven’t been filled properly or if they had it’s rushed and dry (for example Mr Lee’s relationship with his parents, yuri’s toxic tendencies, yuri’s friends worries about their relationship, yuri’s studies and career etc.) mainly I think what annoys me the most it’s the fact that Mr lee’s concerns about yuri’s toxic tendencies were brushed off so easily, yuri was VERY controlling, clingy, had extreme mood swings and abandonment issue, and only imagining being with him it’s already tiring me, when it’s good with him, it’s such a high, but when it’s bad, it’s so bad and so much more (and im being very generous, especially in the scene where yohan complained that yuri shouldn’t talk and swear at mr lee, you don’t talk to your partner like that specially at the beginning or the relationship no matter how upset you are, later on that can escalate into something worse), idk what I’m saying anymore, I wished it was addressed more properly in the story bc although yuri’s character did grow a lot compared to the earlier episodes he still has much to work on, I understand the purpose is not making a character perfect, the more flaws they have the more realistic it is and the author has nailed it in that sense, the toxicity and raw mistakes in their relationship makes them more realistic but as a manhwa story, I only wish they could heal and form a healthy way of showing love.

No matter how many times I reread this, it always feels like the first time. The author is so good at laying out important points in the plot in the limited number of chapters. Short and sweet, so they say.

Yoshida and his superb emotional intelligence is probably my most favorite thing in this story. Dare I say, he is such an important character that helped the two come together. So important that with a simple, "Is that really how you feel?" he was able to enlighten Midori about the feelings he is not ready to face. Then again, despite knowing Midori's feelings and apparent denial, he is not the type of character that pushed bot MCs to come together, instead he allowed them, Midori especially, to live the realizations on their own, but was also the first to congratulate them when they finally got together. I love his character so much because it's how it should be. I feel that I, as a reader, would secretly hope for a quick solution that would end the suffering of the characters. Then again, if Yoshida was a character that represented me as a reader, then I'm glad I did not interfere, and was patient. Because their love is as bitter as it is sweet with or without external competition or pressure.

It’s not everyday you encounter a grown BL story like this. While there was still moments to deepen the plot, it wasn’t in a way that’d make you annoyed or anything, I just kept nodding and reading because every thing was handled so maturely. It didn’t raise my blood pressure like the other ones usually do lol. It was short, sweet and straight to the point. I even admired how fluid and real the sex was to back off the mature aspect of the book as welllll. 10s 10s 10s across the board! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
