Tbh...I'm shocked. I'm shocked it has such a good score. I read through the end (up to side 16) and I didn't get the so awaited "it will be better later" moment. Some comedy/wooho parts were ok but the characters aren't likeable and the rest is plain stupid, cliche, infantile. I don't know if I'm missing the whole point of this piece like, is it satire? Or was I expecting too much?

Sure everyone is biased towards the MC, but is the other guy so wrong? The MC now is happy and doesn't fight anymore, because he found the ML. That's ok, but what does this matter to him? Why is MC expecting him to stop fighting and to change, just because he himself is happy now? All in all it's none of his business, so the guy is right, MC wants him to stop to make himself feel better. And who's the MC to decide what makes the other guy happy? Sure he might not like fighting, but it's still a way to relive stress or something and who knows maybe his right partner could be found there, because having the same plot twice would be a bit boring

Everyone's hating but honestly, I get the guy. I feel like Misuzu IS doing it to calm his own conscience down more than it being that he cares for this guy. I've been in similar situations and can say that most of the time when someone 'moves on' from their past they want to tie all lose threads to feel truly happy and fulfilled, and he's just one of Misuzu's lose threads. Misuzu wants to feel worthy and in the same standing as Kitahara, as such, he's trying to 'fix' this guy from his past. Everyone's so blind to MCs innocence and his love story with the ML that they think they're flawless but honestly it irks me. After that first incident he never actively went after MC anymore and even talked cordially to him. It's the MC who's CHASING AFTER HIM and who's FORCING him to open up to him when they haven't been close in a long time, and who knows maybe Misuzu WAS the one who left him behind?? Misuzu just wants him back as his best friend so he can finally gave a complete fulfilled life. Imagine the person you hate and made you feel miserable move on from that past and be happy while you're still stuck in that past you were put in. Everyone will feel upset. Jealous even. It's HUMAN. Misuzu is not entitled to anything from him, he's not entitled to befriend Misuzu again or be all happy happy for him. I don't hate Misuzu I love the ML and MC but maybe think a little past that too.

I dont really know why you guys hated that new blonde ah guy. To be fair, I kinda sympathize with him. Imagine going for lengths to be friends with someone. Only for that "someone" to ditch you when you were got beaten up. Then returning to see that friend was already happy without you. I get why the MC left him but honestly, leaving without explaining will only hurt your friend confused. If I were the friend, I too will not forgive him easily.

Selfish, self-righteous, messy, dishonest teenagers. Honestly this interaction feels very real for me. This is my personal take but both of them are still stuck in the past and being selfish about it. One doesn't want to admit why he fights or his feelings related to the past/their past friendship. Meanwhile the other one is being a stubborn lil shit because he doesn't want to admit things have changed between them to a possible point of no return. A part of me hopes they work thru this but also I wouldn't mind for this to end in one of those childhood friendships that just end with no real closure attached to it because that's more often the case in these scenarios in real life.
