I came for a cute highschool romance, so the 10 year age gap side couple kinda soured the whole thing for me. I'm sorry, Dabin, I'm not rooting for you.
If this goes like any other story of this type there's gonna be a time skip and suddenly Dabin's gonna be taller than him, and then Geonoh's suddenly like "wow he's so manly and mature, I've always thought of him as a kid, but he's grown up" and then somehow falls in love. I hate that bullshit. Not every childhood crush has to come true, sometimes it just doesn't make sense to get together

I enjoy watching Cesio's Crusade.
I don't hate that there's a misunderstanding, I hate how contrived it is. Why did he try to see Tanitar and not Terryl to check if she was dead? And Tanitar just happened to be super conveniently next to her fake corpse, reinforcing that it the right way to find out about her death somehow. It just straight up didn't make any sense

theyre saying Cesio should have tried to use his power to see Terryl, instead of using it to look into Tanitar and coincidentally seeing the fake corpse. if he used it on Terryl maybe his power will show the real Terryl alive and well lmao
but honestly i think he just didnt want to use his power on Terryl because of privacy? or did they not promise to never use it on her after the erasing memories fiasco? idk i forgor
I hate how this manhwa pretends personality traits, interests, and talents are passed down genetically, even though it's such bullshit.
Also if the shittiness is just inherited that means it's not Eunhye's fault she sucks, she was just born that way. That's bad. She should be responsible for her own actions!!
I wouldn't even say it's just an issue of this book but if you read and watch enough Korean Dramas, you see this common trend of "bad parent, bad child". I see it in the Chinese ones too. Hard to say but I think it's a reflection of their collective mindset as a society that seeps its way into their literature.
Like if you watch the classic Korean Dramas like stairway to heaven (way more dramatic than this korean comic lmao) the Villainess also has a "Evil mother" meanwhile the female lead's parents are "Good". The brother who is good also conveniently is raised by the dad that is "Reformed and Good". Moon Embracing The Sun also has that good parent good child and evil parent evil child theme.
I've just never read a manhwa where it's THIS prevalent. And the acting in kdramas is just a little too theathrical for me most of the time, so I have a hard time getting into them. And if it's not the acting, then the editing
