This feels so familiar, I feel like I've read a manga with a very similar premise before...

Was it the one where the guy loved shoujo manga and wanted to be a cool prince but then his childhood friend transferred and knew all about his shoujo-loving side? And one of the MC's friends who was a germaphobe developed a crush on the MC? And the MC'S other friend was an otaku. Even though both friends came off as cool at school and they all accepted each other's "flaws"???

"Joohyuk's not a bad kid" he says, and I'm so fucking angry right now. Even if you call all the sexual stuff Joohyuk did to Eunho consensual, EVEN IF YOU DO THAT, he still bullied a kid to drop out of art school, just because he befriended Eunho.
But all the forced dicksucking was also fucking gross. Eunho's a spineless moron.
I'm only reading this because the comments sounded like they wouldn't get together, and Dochan's cute

This story is so fucking stupid. How dare you use the word dehydration when you couldn't be bothered to look how log a human can survive without water. She's a fucking princess! After 5 days she'd be dead, not "close to fainting from dehydration".
Idk, I just feel like I won't be able to take this story seriously anymore. There were kinda stupid things before this, but this might've been my last straw

He felt bad about fucking him too hard, but he didn't apologise. I just find it strange when people try to make up with you through actions only and never acknowledging the hurt they caused with words. That's cowardly and evasive behaviour.
Meanwhile MC wasn't even concerned about that, but how would he know, he doesn't make any attempt at honest communication.
I'm so glad MC was able to voice his frustrations so clearly

Doing laundry every day for only two people is crazy, what is he on about? There's no way he's doing full loads, he's just being wasteful. Moldy my ass, who taught him that???
My grandma does laundry once every 2 weeks and she (kinda) lives alone.

Every two weeks !? Does she have that many clothes ?
I live alone, I work from home mostly to I'm in my PJs lost of time but I got to the gym 3-4 times a week so I need to laundry every 5 days at max otherwise I won't have any clothes.
Now imagine being two, one of the two does manual work, the other needs to be in a suit all the time. Do you think he has 15 suits under him !? Obviously he would need to do laundry more frequently.

She's barely mobile so she doesn't have the energy for it. It used to be every week. And of course that's enough. Except for underwear and socks you don't need to change clothes every day. And people generally own enough of those to last a week. Why would you put something in the laundry that neither stinks nor looks dirty?
And like someone else said, if he needs to change suits every day for appearances' sake then he should have at least three to switch between.
Honestly it seems to come down to cultural differences. I've noticed that Japanese people in manga seem to do tiny loads. Maybe they have small wahsing machines.
Mainly the mold thing sounded insane to me. I'm in a 3 person household, and we could do laundry every day, clothes-wise, but we tend to let it pile up
It is so fucking irritating to hear the "blood of a thief, so she's a thief" logic for the umpteenth time, with no one ever correcting it!
That those medieval fantasy people are ignorant isn't a huge surprise, but the people that know her should tell this child that it's nonsense, and your blood doesn't determine your personality and actions. Do it in private afterwards idc, just say SOMETHING
i mean today people still have that same mindset. either based off of race or a rumor bout someones past theyll just think that way no matter what
It’s a sad stereotype to think people from the past were much different from us, in particular when it comes to social interactions, we share so much with any social animals that recent biology will qualify most of our behaviors and all emotions as the fruit of evolution : which is probably why skystriredtm is absolutely right.
Rumors, gossip and such makes no sense in our megapoles, but must have been very useful if we consider we lived for millennias as very small group where reputation mattered a lot. It must have been powerful regulators of social behaviors.
(When it come to the ridiculous concept of « race »(purely human biais) it probably more akin to in tribe vs out tribe regulation (basically morality is easily suspensed when facing « out tribe », which is why dividing people on any criteria has prove to be absolutely dangerous (lots of social studies in the 60s 70s))
You are also very right, there’s a very heavy emphasis on « blood » and it doesn’t make much sense. Writing any information in DNA is so immensely costly that obviously we’re not born knowing the trades of our family (Even parenting needs to be learned !)
On the contrary though, it seems there are scientific evidence that the trauma of grand parents can be passed down to their grandchildren through epigenetic manifestation (basically because female babies have all the eggs of the ovary very early as embryos). I don’t really recall precisely but these can go down 2 or 3 generations, and leave some issues to be solved that cannot make sense otherwise (family constellation theories ?)
Even if knowledge were of a different kind, it’s only in fantasy that you find total absence of culture (like no cooking knowledge !), but that’s a different story. :)
