Professors like that old man pisses me off. How can you give someone a C and not tell them the reason why. A C in University is life-damaging considering you can get expelt for getting Ds. Plus he knew Dajun was on scholarship too like that's ridiculous. Isn't he the same dude that kept piling work on him too? Hate these kind of professors sm

WDYM WE ARE STILL IN THE PAST?? AIN'T NO WAY???? I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THAT!!
(I came in hating the ML and now I just think he's pathetic and pitiful af. Literally have no one I like in this webtoon but am still reading it because I want to see ML happy?? He's usually the kind of character I'd hate but his backstory was so fked up I'm giving him free passes. NGL is it bad that I actually want him to punch MC instead of all the sexual assualty(assualt-y because it's dub-con not non-con)stuffs. Like, with how many times MC had hurt him, he deserve to land a few punches inbetween those thrusts. Someone please ping me again when it's completed because this whole mess is giving me a headache.
P.s I want whatever makeup those models are wearing because with how many times they are getting injured, the coverage is insane)

I know it sounds bad but mutual abuse is real in this one. It is the theme of the webtoon that they will constantly hurt each other and both parties are in the fault. If I'm gonna be thrown to jail for suggesting he takes some accountability then everyone who thinks he's the perfect victim should join me.
He doesn't communicate, constantly lies and keeps enabling ML's actions. He is AWARE that he is hurting himself and the people around him. I'm saying he shld be punched because he punched ML for things HE initiated, like dawg ML's a model he really chose his livelihood to punch. I really hate the dub-con because you are telling me after all the nonsense he went through, ML just wants to fk MC? Bffr I'd have serious abandonment issues and the first thing in my mind wouldn't be to get back together. SO instead of the sexual assault-thing that MC ambiguously initiates, I'd rather ML just punch him, an eye for an eye. If you've read ML's pov n still thinks MC's a perfect victim and he don't deserve a few punches, idk what to say.
If I knew a friend like MC irl I wld defo give him a punch to wake him up like it reaches a point. I am NOT enabling this kind of wishy-washy behaviour that's gonna land the entire friend group in trouble. (Idt I can be friends with someone who keeps lying to me anw, I'd have serious trust issues) Dude jumps into the mess, creates a bigger mess and you expect me to want him to stay there? NO I'd want him to pack up and leave that damn mess and if a punch from ML can wake him up I'd jolly-well beg for a few.

Also leaving this here in case people want to twist my words(Bcus this is the internet and people likes to jump on others). Me saying MC needs to take accountability and thinking ML needs an outlet doesn't mean I don't think ML deserve a punch too. Pancakes waffles.
**Wanting to punch them is more of a figure of speech. Shake them, take them on a trip, distance them, sending them to therapy, wtvr works because obviously communicating doesn't work. They are both abuse victims so it gets SO frustrating to read them start another cycle of abuse. They srsly need to wake up and reflect. BOTH of them.

I get that yw's self destructive behaivor can be toxic but when did he lie to seo in? He loved him for whole 10 years if anything he felt used, saw his crush kiss his adoptive brother, get beat up by his brother, His mother bribed his father and still didnt feel any resentment. He only cares for seoin. And i get seoin too but he really shouldn't have pushed him so hard.(I mean sexually) Remember that consent can be taken back. He punched him bc he ignored his "wait" and "stop" So im really baffled at your statement

Are we really reading the same story MC lied since the very start when ML tried to communicate with him during their school days. He lied again when becoming his manager, then lied again when meeting his old model. (Let's not forget how he lied to his gangster hyung, or his workplace abt his model cheating on the sponsor etcetc. Even if some of those are white lies, or maybe it's a defense mechanism to protect himself, the author has made it clear that MC is a habitual liar.) Within the two ML is the one constantly seeking a method of communication. Due to that, ML has trust issues and became extremely paranoid with MC because he was always either kept in the dark or lied to. I'm not trying to villainize MC, this is literally how he is written, nor am I justifying ML's violence, I think ML should be jailed by the end of the series but my point is, if MC can be justified and forgiven for his destructive behaviour, why can't ML have one punch.
Other characters constantly points that MC is in this whole mess because he loves to overstep despite being on the fence. He's not sure what he wants and confuses others along with him. He's the one who took ML's offer to sleep with him because of his feelings and sure consent can be taken back, but MC went back and did the SAME THING over again despite alrdy knowing how ML is. It reaches a point when a victim becomes an accomplice when there's constantly two hands clapping. I'm not saying I don't feel bad for MC, and I am NOT saying ML should be let off, pancakes waffles srsly. It's hard to feel sorry for only one side when MC's actions enables this kind of behaviour from ML.

Yea sure I am reading frontlight, whatever floats your boat. ML is literally there as an example that someone can turn from a victim to a perpetrator and the best part of this webtoon is how the author don't shy away from portraying MC in a negative light. If you enjoy the narrative that the MC did no wrong participating in the toxic rs with ML, I ain't stopping you. Agree to disagree.

Everyone should try doing volunteering(not related to school or work) at least once in your lifetime. Even if it's little, every small step counts. I myself do volunteering and donate occassionally to remind myself to be grateful for what I have. LOVE the message this manga is spreading. Asking for charity and donations for real concerns shouldn't seem annoying, it's only because there are so many scams and businessmen trying to profit off others' demises that it becomes such a sensitive topic. Helping others shouldn't be seen as a negative thing, wish there were more good in the world.

I like how they twisted the gory parts many remakes censored. Rapunzel was impregnated and Cinderella's sisters' feet got cut off in the original story. Similarly, Rapunzel here was (almost) raped and Cinderella's area has some weirdos cutting people's feet.
Wondering if the ML came from a fairytale or if he's entirely original.

So I've only read 1/3 so Idk if they explained the hierachy backstory yet, but I want to know the direction this manga is going before continuing since it's getting repetitive. MC Finds target -> Target is torturing/mocking human race -> MC shows his OPness and gets revenge, saving innocent humans along the way -> Finds next target. Considering how he's only got revenge on two people so far, I'm wondering how long it's gonna span. Is there any arc that will break this cycle? It'd be interesting if some humans are portrayed evil too.
Onto my theory which I welc people to enlighten me
My theory is that humans were in power because of the advance technology they created, with "Masters" leading as heros, but other races banded together and fought/betrayed them in fear/jealous of their powers(So role reversal). Afterwards, their histories were erased and humans without the intelligence become branded as inferior and treated as slaves(start of the manga). To prevent any special humans from taking away the current hierachy, suspected "Masters" are killed before they grow up, creating a ruthless cycle where the other races stay in power until MC comes to become the new "Master"(Hero) of the human race.
My extra guess is that the "Evil god" of this world is the source of human powers(og Master) and was buried to supress human beings, thats why MC's powers proved to be more usefull in the abyss, while the "goddess" is the "hero" (new Master) of the other races since she's portrayed in such a positive light. Maybe some betrayal for love thing involved idk.
Anyways, wondering if any kind soul will fill me up on whether my theory is pausible. Imo the revenge fantasy wasn't very satisfying since the villains are pretty much brain-dead and MC is OP af. I got more interested in the lore and backstory so would like to get spoilt on that since googling didn't provide much answers.
Since I'm alrdy asking, will the gacha characters become more relevant or will they stay mainly as MC's weapons?
