Penelope had an extra amulet just like the one she gave her father, she plans to give it to Reynald but CP appears and takes it from her, saying they wouldn't want it
after the event with the bishes and threatening a bish with a crossbow, she'll go haunting and gets lost chasing after a fox going to the big beasts area
she's attacked by a huge brown bear and tries to aim and shoot with the help of the system, but she has to do the aiming but fails at the end and the crown prince who happened to be there finishes it
there's a convo about her taking the head and winning the haunt but she refuses
it starts raining so he gives her his waterproof magic heat protected cape and they ride his horse together
but then before they move an arrow shoots the CP in the chest and he falls down
Penelope starts crying, he opens his eyes smirking, soo the amulet he stole earlier protected him lool
anyways there's a chase on the horse with 20 assassins, she shoots from the back with the help of the system helping the CP
he gets shot in the back protecting her with the last two
anyways she shoots them, they fall off a cliff together as she shoots last guy
she wakes up in a cave next to a small fire, looks like they survived because there was a river and he carried her to a cave, they didn't know there was such a cave in the imperial haunting grounds
and she is in her underwear clothes with only his cape on her
and he's shirtless (olalaaa~)
I think the knife that shot him was poisoned but he's hiding it
anyways she has a nightmare about the bear and starts shivering so he drags her to his side and hugs her to his chest for warmth looking annoyed. (remember there's only a thin cape between them o///o)
anyways he tells her a story about his childhood (storytelling on his bare chest near the fire ohoho) when he was chased by a bear and assassins and both killed each other so he took the bear's head off and won the haunt
anyways they sleep
but he takes a long time to wake up the next day which is really worrying
Penny had to slap him multiple times to wake up lmao
anyways she's waking him after getting dressed because there are wind noises
except they are coming from INSIDE the cave


anyways she reveals she has archeology skills ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~

her intervening should be in chapter 61 bc vinter should step up when callisto tries to arrest the kids along with the adults and penelope backs him up (increasing both vinter and callisto's favorability). the duraiton of the hunting competition is character development for callisto (mostly for callisto), vinter, and reynold...aka the 3 decent male leads that don't have an obsession with penelope lol.
