South Korea actually has a ton of problems with rampant misogyny and violence against women, that's why the 4B movement was and is a major deal. It's not the safest country for women either (the safest is Denmark according to the index), it's no. 30 which might seem fine, but a lot of the countries listed above it also have similar problems.
