Why is this rated so low?! it’s only been one chapter. I thought the beginning was decent damn.

I don’t think I’ve ever been so mad seeing a smut scene so bad until now. Why are there more of those two assholes than the main Love interest???

I don’t see how this ends on a happy note. Girl blackmailed brunette, is pretty scummy to her other partners by either ignoring them completely or just pulling the “i don’t want be alone” line. As someone who’s polyamorous this is pretty bad.
On one hand, I get the men agreed to be in this relationship with her (expect the Brunette because again he’s being blackmailed) and she’s allowed to have boundaries on what she feels comfortable with, but it’s clear she’s just using them as emotional tools for whatever might’ve happened to her when she was younger.
It’s no wonder the coworker is able to ruin the relationship so easily, the bond between all of them is so frail.
Random rant:
Aside from that I’ve dealt with guys like that coworker who judged me for having two partners as well as bisexual, and tried to “fix” me into being straight and monogamous, it’s really annoying so seeing him kinda gave me flashbacks lmaooo.

So turns out this was also uploaded onto another site and it does indeed have a harem tag. However the Korean raws don’t , so I’m hoping that’s the case.
I’m gonna ramble from here on:
I’ve read a few pornwhas that are obviously for men and I’ve only read one that’s a harem that i actually liked. Maybe it’s due to personal bias cis I do prefer reverse harems, but that’s mostly because the men have more personality and are interesting characters even without the fl around them. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve also read a lot of bad reverse harems where the fl is so bland yet the men somehow all love her. It’s just something I’ve noticed lol.

Only going off by one chapter but it’s so refreshing to see a ml who’s a pirate and don’t looks the other mls I’ve seen so much these days (I’m hoping he is lol since he’s on the cover and all) and the fl is mermaid too, hopefully she’s a good character cuz her design is really cute.
So far I like the concept of the story. Won’t rate until more chapters.

Anyways, I was a bit iffy of the plot so I was worried she was going to just take advantage of the (now) emperor’s feeling towards her but I’m glad that wasn’t the case. Having 10 years of her unrequited love, it’s rough to try and move on from that. Let alone that she was stuck dealing with a trash father yet treated her sister as a saint.
I really liked her sister tho, she was such a fun character as well.
At the beginning I very much disliked the Duke, didn’t help with the lack of communication. Despite it all, he’s not the worst ex fiancé I’ve read, and I do wish the best in the future. It’s one of those “he fell to late”. (lol you can disagree with me but to me this honestly the bare minimum of what he could’ve done).
I’m quite satisfied with the ending.
Everyone has their own interpretations of love, and now she has a new meaning to it.
