I think MD was trying to push chanwoo to his limit to say the safeword but chanwoo is stubborn to say it even after MD chocking him ( i think chanwoo is like that because he is too used to toxic relationships) ... MD realised that so he said the safe word. And bdsm based on deap trust between both ends and failing any of them to say the safeword is a huge deal that can easily destroy the trust...thats why he didn't contact chanwoo for sometime now.
