Nah because when you realize there’s 8 chapters to signify 8 days, as in MC broke his memory cycle and can remember past 7 days like omfg
Also, this manhwa gives the same vibe as that other manhwa where MC had memory problems and ML have major red flag vibes until everything was revealed in a plot twist too. I have to say I wasn’t expecting anterograde amnesia, like damn
Fvck the ML he’s just like those toxic bfs who bombard you with questions about everything. Why tf is he so paranoid? MC told you he went with his start to buy gifts for his parents. If u don’t believe him, why even bother asking u jack*ss?? It’s so hypocritical how he’s always bothering MC about not picking up immediately or whatever but then ghosts him whenever he feels like it. And MC, don’t just forgive him and brush it off it’s gonna be a worsening cycle bro
On the other hand, MC’s reaction to sweets reminds me of Saiki hehe
I usually don’t care much for side couple, but that support and musketeer… the way they both got that bloodthirsty PK side and get along so well UGH lowkey that mechanic looking guy in the orange suit and the guy with eyebags and bunny ears has potential too…
I also like the gaming side of the manhwa. There’s barely any plot-oriented bl so we love to see it! Hoping we see more of MC’s gaming strength too
It always get on my nerves so much when people just can’t understand why someone would want to not out themselves or their same-sex relationship in public. Like fine if you can’t relate, but it’s not that hard to understand why OTHERS wouldn’t want to???
It also peeved me a bit when ML asked if he was keeping secrets from him. Like ur bf is about to have a panic attack in public bc ur basically pressuring him to out himself while a member of his church is there, hello??? Where is the situational awareness? MC and ML would’ve alr addressed their conflict if ML just agreed to have their talk in private, which is what most ppl choose to do anyway, especially if ur Asian
girl, I hope yk he just wanted to resolve the problem and he stopped forcing it, but the black haired guy freaked about him wanting to talk about it. It was a miscommunication not whatever u think about him not understanding. The ML thought the guy was trying to use “lets talk about this somewhere else” as an excuse (meaning like saying that and never bringing it up again)
Rather than MC freaking out about ML wanting to talk about their problems, it was specifically him freaking out because ML wanted to talk abt their problems IN PUBLIC. Very big distinction.
I would also argue that it’s both miscommunication on both sides and ML’s lack of understanding. In earlier chapters, MC already tried to explain to ML that they should refrain from telling other people abt their relationship without talking about it first. ML was confused on why and when MC explained it was bc Korea was conservative about gay relationships, ML still didn’t understand and MC realized ML was the type to not stress about that and didn’t understand. That ultimately serves as the main cause for their later miscommunication, which is the recent chapters.
MC is worrying about being exposed in public, but ML, who doesn’t understand this concern of his, wants to confront their problems in public. If ML had understood earlier on that MC is really socially anxious about others’ opinions on him, the whole miscommunication would not have happened. Instead, they would’ve talked about their problems in private, ML wouldn’t think MC’s trying to avoid talking, and MC wouldn’t have freaked and talked abt taking a break.
THIS.
You're absolutely right! It's something super private, and also it depends a lot on the culture! What seme just said is true, he's just book smart, not street smart. That attitude was horrible, man. Pushing him to act like the rest of the world doesn't care is not cool.
Geon deserves understanding and sympathy in this situation.
Huh? If the issue is affecting the relationship then yes, he is absolutely obligated to tell him. So everytime, it comes up Geon pretends like it's no big deal or like nothing is wrong. It not about placing blame on any one person, it's about 2 individuals not talking to each other about a big issue that AFFECTS their relationship early on. Should Suo be able to read his partner? yes and he should know that a public place isn't the best place for a serious conversation. I agree that he shouldn't have pushed him when he said "not here", listening is important.
What irritates me is that ALL THIS could have been avoided. This is literally the most avoidable argument ever. There is no ONE wrong person here, there shouldn't be sides. They should both be adults and stop running and talk. If your past is affecting your future then you are absolutely obligated to tell your partner.

I love how the author portrayed both MC and ML as flawed characters without making either toxic. MC has this type of self-fulfilling prophecy going on, where he keeps himself distant from others and closes himself up because he believes they’ll eventually leave him, and when they do, he says he knew it all along and blames it on himself. That cycle is so depressing, but I love how he manages to break free from it when he realize that his mother is stuck in a similar cycle of guilt and self-blame. ML took a while to realize MC isn’t the same as him, where he’s the type to reach out when pushed away, but MC is the type to accept when others push him away due to his low self-esteem, and he learns how to address this and comfort MC.
As a side note from MC petting the dog, I think MC would’ve benefitted from owning a pet, like a cat or dog. The codependency of owner and pet and constant companionship might’ve let him trust that there are people who won’t leave him.
The grandpa was also so sad PLS he kinda reminds me of the MC/grandpa in Up, where his significant other passed away so they’re constantly reminiscing and missing them…
