I love when couples mutually like being around each other all the time LOL. ML doesn’t care about anyone but MC and although he’s possessive, he doesn’t restrain MC or his interactions with people.

I preferred the earlier chapters to be honest because it focuses more on their relationship and Rourou (their kid), but the side characters and couples are all really sweet and healthy too so I actually like the entire manhua.

I would call it a growth arc instead of redemption arc because MC forces ML to learn and grow, which is great. It focuses more on how ML can move on and avoid his past mistakes while addressing his obsessions. MC “transmigrates” into a book with the typical scum abuse. He’s determined to avoid the storyline and works on gaining ML’s trust. ML still has his dark, possessive urges until the end, but learns how to prioritize MC’s happiness and mostly control them.

WELL-DEVELOPED CHARACTERS

This story does a great job at its Psychological genre tag. It goes into the mindset and traumatic past of both MC and ML and how their past experiences/traumas still impact them today. It also portrays mental health illness/struggles more realistically than the average story. ML used to have dreams of a fictional person in his dream, who he idealized and missed. He meets MC, a new actor who happens to look exactly like him.

UNIQUE PLOT

Honestly so interesting, like I’m hooked every chapter because it has this suspenseful feeling that makes you hope MC’s doing okay every chapter. Waiting for the ball to drop type of vibes. The art is also top tier and I love MC’s characterization. ML (possibly not) is the god of the world and everyone worships him, like brainwashed type of worship. MC is his favored consort and kinda struggling to survive in a place that normalizes human brutality and whatnot.
