There's two types of readers, there's you and theres us. You can get disappointed which is fair enough, I understand you, but you also gotta see us from out side to, these type of situations are expected, this kinda thing happens, I hold onto the hope that eventually they're going to be happy and consider this kind of thing team building I guess. But it really is expected in angsty stories. I don't understand why people would ruin the hype of a really good manga by dropping it just because something bad happens that they don't like, it anything, it makes me want to read further to make sure they're ok in the end.

this happens with all mangas regardless of popularity, when the author starts pulling out shit from their asses, the readers r bound to be disappointed and drop the manga, same thing happened with chainsaw man and jjk, the most popular mangas on earth…we literally have comments to voice your opinion. the readers know that eventually jin and matthew will end up happy but the back n fourth trope is annoying as shit (esp considering that it has alr happened once in this manga, ANOTHER one is bound to make people lose interest) and them saying they’re dropping a manwha on an illegal website is not ruining the hype im not dropping this but i will say i am disappointed since ive read plenty of angsty mangas, this is mediocre esp now that its reaching the end

I think you dont understand the meaning of red flag because our Jakey is definitely red red red Stalking shin, tracking with a gps and spying on him through the camera while he works, threatening to unalive his adopted brother and many more things. I cant remember everything because I haven't read this since last year but he's definitely red. Yes some of those he does you could say "its because of his work" but he never needed to involve shin in his work. He forced shin in to doing physical things like at the very beginning when shin changed his mind and jake wouldn't let him stop, the scene with jake in the police outfit was very forceful too (and painful!) And he forced shin in to getting involved with the gangs and made him his driver which shin didnt want to do and was really against, especially because of his childhood he didn't want to be involved with drugs or gangs. I mean even the guy that Jake works with basically said he's a red flag that you don't wanna mess with And although jake does catch feelings for shin but when you hear the reason why Jake originally made shin work for him it's also messed up. He's a twisted guy but it's his appeal. Watching him fall in love with shinny is very fun

I'd say that if Jake can't be defined as green, the fact that he's got the camera and GPS on isn't a red flag. Why not? Well, since he involved Shin in his work, he's well aware that many won't have the best in mind around him. So, putting on these tracking devices is his way of redeeming himself.

Plus, even if he lets Shin go, that doesn't mean his enemies won't come after him for ransom.
