On other stories the side couple tends to have a way more interesting story ‘cause they only get to have a couple of chapters so the author needs to make a compelling story that hooks the readers immediately—but honestly, I’m kind of with you on this, the side couple’s story on this is cliché and boring. Also, if Matthew knew that Hayoung was his destined mate from the beginning why did he hit on Ian? is it a plot hole
