I feel like the fact that she suddenly became safe when deciding to remain at the manor shows that the actual culprit can’t access her in that location. So whoever is the culprit must also be weary of the duke.
I want our FL to spend more time with the kids. At this point they are going to call her aunt mom rather than the FL. I guess it bothers me that they are pretty much on the back burner and the FL isn’t seemingly bothered by that.
