It seems the Ch 1 in side story is aligned with the novel (afair), wherein the good shaman checked Myeongha's health and informed the couple that the baby must be born/delivered during a lunar eclipse (manhwa says 'moon is swallowed' but iirc it was mentioned in the novel as 'full moon'). And that the king must set up a provisional office for a soon-to-be born royal descendant.
The chibis are cute and Myeongha's belly is so large that it looks like he's in the last semester (iykwim) and he looks good in a noble-type hanbok outfit. The couple are also discussing about whom will the baby's looks take after, and such. My God, I'm so excited for their baby (ノ≧∇≦)ノ
Lastly, it ended with a note of an upcoming smut. I remember reading in the novel some smut scenes while Myungha is heavily pregnant, but that could be the one that was adapted into manhwa already in Ch 84 (main story ending). So let's see if they will be banging again in the next side story chapter ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I don't get why this twink of an omega is refusing the suppressant that Taeha is offering him. Just bcs he will pass out? And so what if he indeed pass out? Maybe I missed the foreshadowing from the previous chapters (if there's any) but it looks like the author made the uke refuse the meds bcs they just want a mouth-to-mouth scene to be inserted in this chapter.

Ohh right yeah thanks for reminding! Sorry I forgot abt it. Now it makes sense that he's refusing the meds, but it's off-putting that he won't tell Taeha why. He could have said that it won’t work since he's immune to any of those suppressants.
I just read back chapter 1 and now I'm reminded why he won't take suppressants anymore. Instead of taking meds, as suggested by the doctor, he needs to be physically intimate with an alpha regularly to stabilize his pheromones. I guess he just can't say it like that, like he's embarrassed to tell Taeha that he would prefer to do some foreplay or quickie bcs no suppressants will work anyway.

Because if not, and the uke is still working hard in that construction site while not knowing he's already pregnant, he's susceptible to accidents and physical stress that may lead to miscarriage.

In Ch 29, he said 'I thought, we agreed not to do this kinda stuff in the office'. You're aware that consent should be OBTAINED FIRST before doing the deed, for it not to be labeled as r*pe, right? And not afterwards? Even if Yiyoung liked it later on, it doesn't change the fact that he did not consent BEFORE and DURING. In Ch 30-31, he has been saying in his mind 'I'm scared', 'I have to get away', 'This is awful' and been blurting out 'Please stop'. Atp it's just absurd how ppl couldn't see this as r*pe.
So I just checked Ch 32 in the raws and it seems Yiyoung liked a rough sex with a beast-like Mr. Kang, given the flashback panels. Maybe that is his kink. Mr. Kang could go hard and rough and Yiyoung will still like it. But rough sex ≠ noncon sex.

I just finished it and indeed, it's a cute and lighthearted story! It's just that the yaoi tag is kinda misleading. The kissing and naked panels are the close ones to smut but they are not that explicit, so this should be just tagged as shounen ai only.

The story is centered with the main couple, and since they are childhood friends, afair, among the milestones of seme's life (first car, first paycheck, etc.) there's nothing about being in a relationship. I might be wrong, but there's no hurt in checking since it's only shounen ai and has only 30 chapters.
