But I REALLY don’t like Gunjoon’s friend. The one who likes San sunbae. Like, I understand when your friend is doing dumb shit you give em a little tough love, but man doesn’t even ACT like he likes being around Gunjoon. Always frustrated EVERY time they are together. I liked this story a lot for the first book(?) but this new forced conflict is so overdone and underwhelming that I felt like it was just filler. And, like, man just tried to RAPE the uke and y’all are just gonna let it slide because he said “ahaha, now I won’t bother you anymore”??? It may sound a little wild, but this should have ended after they got together.
Reread and still thought it was cute. It’s fiction so that clearly sways my judgement.

There are a lot of different comments on this and I have to say, if you’re reading this, STICK IT OUT. The main couple has MAD communication issues (which, when doesn’t a romance couple have those) but they do ALL get solved in a satisfying manner. Warning, there is grooming and minor sexual assault, but that’s so common in BL that this manhwa manages to do it in a less icky way. Not to say it isn’t there, so if you can’t handle those, steer clear, but it’s not bad enough to ruin the story. It’s actually a pretty beautiful historical manhwa with generally likable characters, a very interesting plot, a FINE ML, and m-preg that leads to one of the cutest manhwa babies I’ve witnessed.
