I guess the author had us on our toes with the cliffhangers at the end of each chapter which left us with a rush of adrenaline whether it was the sex or the emotional abuse it still pulled our heart strings. In a way this should be called a masterpiece.
I noticed someone mentioned that this isn't the end, I am glad. Maybe a bit of them living happily would make me feel less guilty of accepting this relationship

Turning a blind eye is pretty common in the society today but the way the story has been narrated you wonder if even you or I am ignoring anything and as a result is someone suffering.
The ending was open as we can conclude the master will live on for his lover.
Honestly, I read a chapter and took a break! Because this is a really heart breaking, well thought out and beautifully drawn and written masterpiece. I didn't want to comment but hours later after I finished reading I am still thinking about the whole thing. Psychological impact 10/10

Chapter 3's reupload wasn't a fake update nor was for the puspose of increasing reading hits (we won't get anything from that. Lol). It was actually a revised version since we fixed a few errors in the previous one if in case you didn't notice.
