These comments are ridiculous. Nothing about the seme is a red flag. He has a pretty stern personality, fitting considering his job, but he treats the uke very well, and takes excellent care of the uke in both of his forms. As a horse, the uke is groomed and attended to personally by the seme. When the uke is injured, the seme continues to personally care for him, and he allows him to rest up and heal in his tent. He’s very affectionate towards the uke and handles him gently in his human form. It’s clear how much he cares for him, so the comments about him coming off as insincere are baffling. Did y’all not see how scared out of his mind he looked when the uke asked to visit the forest again to see his family? Like, bffr. I’m so over this red flag/green flag shit. You bitches are colorblind.
If his brother wants the company so bad, he should just kill his grandfather, and that’s their paternal grandfather, right? What about their father? Shouldn’t the company go to him, or was he skipped over? I don’t know what to make of the grandfather, tbh. He may be testing them, mainly the brother, to see how far they’ll go to become heir. We need more flashbacks about the MC’s relationship with the grandfather because why does he favor him so much, or does he really? I feel like the parents just didn’t care about the MC because he was sickly and only the second son, but they started to hate him after he started to act out and cause scandals to lose favor. The whole family is just a mess.
The flashback to the contract has me thinking that he won’t be able to break it. I don’t know why though. All it said was that the ML would protect the MC from his brother, and the MC would do whatever the ML said whenever he said it. It’s not unbreakable, but we also weren’t shown the full contract… I honestly don't know what the MC should do next. He needs to get out of that stupid contract, but he still needs protection, but he may feel like breaking up with the ML will appease his brother’s anger somewhat, but then he’d need a new plan. Idk.
I figured the grandfather would see this as an opportunity. That’s why the MC should’ve just got a bunch of random, cute bottoms to mess around with instead. He could’ve went out with a different one each night and caused a scandal in the tabloids or whatever. He really didn’t need the ML. I hope he tries to break the contract, and the ML loses leverage over him. Knowing how these things go, though, the ML will probably end up manipulating him into keeping it without ever revealing his scheme. Hope I’m wrong!
Also, what’s with the MC’s parents? His whole family is trash.
I only read a few random chapters to get an idea of what this was about, so I could’ve missed something, but it seems kind of obvious that the guy who raped the MC at the beginning of chapter 3 killed his mom… He said he’d been searching everywhere for the uke, so he most likely went to his home, and he killed the mom during his search. He seemed to be in a kind of out of control state when he found the uke, so he’s my guess for the killer, not one of the brothers.
Gah, I’m so mad that I found this… The summary pulled me in because it was giving Steel Under Silk vibes, but I hate love triangles, especially when they involve siblings. Not to mention, they’re “good” and “bad” siblings, and the endgame is the bad one. It makes it worse that the second ML met the MC first, and they already developed feelings for each other. They’re adorable together, too. smh
I hope the uke finds out he’s being used this season. If we go into the second season with him still not knowing, I’m going to be pissed.
I just seen some dumbass in the comments call this Jinx 2.0. You mfs really lack the ability to process and understand the most basic plots and characters.
I’m only on chapter 25, but the FL is insufferable. At this point, I want him to just leave her ass.
I love that the rape comments are ruining the reading experience for those of you who want to enjoy the “lighthearted parts of the story.” Whomp whomp, bitches.
I hate when ukes are strong in every other aspect, except when it comes to the seme. It just pisses me off. The uke is a total badass, but here he is being completely controlled by the seme. So annoying.
I wish y’all would stop babying the damn uke. He’s an adult. The seme told him straight up that he was just looking to fuck, not date him, and the uke agreed to it. He’s not being mistreated, and the seme is not taking advantage of him. He’s treating him pretty well, actually. Especially considering the fact that they barely know each other. I mean, they just met, and they fucked a few times. That’s it. Y’all are expecting too much too soon.
They look so good in the later volumes. I hope someone eventually translates them.
A weak vampire is kind of lame, tbh. Is the uke going to be a damsel in distress needing to be repeatedly saved by the seme, or will he have supernatural abilities of his own that’ll at least aid him in some type of self-preservation? From the cover, I’m thinking the former.
In the first chapter, I was hoping that he was going to slap that monster down, but the seme immediately saved him. He seems out of it, though. Maybe because he’s low on blood. I’m interested to see his personality and any abilities he may possess. Because of his character design, I’m not expecting much, tbh.
