Ok so ik there are many people that don‘t really like Helena (including me lol) but I think the reason isn‘t just the crying and all I think it‘s more
So let me compare here to Psyche from "Your Throne"/"I want to be you just for a day" because they are in a bit similar situations and Eris is a bad bitch just like Medea (I LOVE THEM BOTH SM)
The thing with Psyche was that I didnt really like her at the beginning but now I really like her and I think there is a major reason as to why (Ik there are still many people that don‘t like Psyche but I dont think its to the extent as it is with Helena): Psyche tried to grow! Yeah first she was just oh so lovey dovey with the crown prince and didnt think for herself but later she tried to grow, think for herself and stopped just relying on crying and thats why I came to like her more..Yeah she still is not as independent as Medea for example but she‘s been through her own stuff and at least she tried to change and not just naively be like "whoops sorry ig :/ but anyway I‘m gonna continue with my useless shitty behavior and just cry when I do something wrong"
Idek if somebody here had read Your Throne but I think if you did you‘ll maybe at least kindaaa understand what I was trying to say??
ALSO! PSYCHE REALLY HAD REASONS TO BE LOVEY DOVEY!! She was all her life forced to be only in her room, without going outside and without realying to anyone. And when she started meeting world she only knew the crown prince. She reaaaally did not know that there would be much darkness and she realyy thought that prince lied. She never encountered such situations nor anybody told abt those. HELENA! THE DAUGHTER AND A WOMAM FROM A FALLEN HOUSHOLD SHOULD HAVE AT LESST KNOWN THAT NOOOOOO MAAATTTERR WHAT ONLY ERIS SHOULD APPEAR WITH HER FIANCEE ON COMIMG OF AGE CEREMONY!!! like....HOOOOOOOW!??! HOW DID SHE NOT KNOW?! Psyche ok, she had ppl and she is a smart person, but was blinded by love and so on. HELENA DOES NOT! She has maid, ok, if not maids, she has those MLs....She can open any other book abt culture and how to act, she can hear rumours describing the whole ceremony...but nooooooooooooooooooooooooo. I still dont like her. Author might try to show her as a good person, but seeing her actions....i still doubt.

YES I TOTALLY AGREE BECAUSE PSYCHE JUST DIDNT KNOW ANYTHING OTHER THAN DARKNESS AND THEN WHEN EROS (I think that was his name I’M REALLY BAD AT REMEMBERING) SHOWED HER AT LEAST SOME LOVE (tho it was fake but how could she know) SHE DIDNT WANT TO FALL BACK INTO THAT COMPLETE DARKNESS SO SHE FELT "LOVE" FOR HIM FOR PSYCHE IT WAS LIKE HIM SAVING HER AND EVEN AFTER THAT SHE STILL TRIED TO GROW AFTER LEARNING ABOUT WHAT A PIECE OF SHIT HE IS…I think she really deserves better and I hope that in the end Medea and her will just have a happy life without that crappy crown prince

The saintess kind of reminds me of the first impression I had of Akito (DW I LOVE AKITO VERY VERY MUCH NOW AND I DONT WANT ANY AKITO SLANDER) from fruits basket but the thing is that Akito is really traumatized and well she was treated horribly by her mother and forced to be raised as a boy and all that and the saintess just seems purely evil right now…I don’t plan on forgiving the saintess but I hope we’ll get a backstory that can at least explain her actions a little bit…she’s also in a similar position of power (tho she has much more than Akito but like theyre both treated like a god) which makes them a bit similar
Her eyes remind me sm of Athy and Jaenette from wmmap
And Michael or the purple eyed knight looks like Zaddey Claude
