I recently read it and needed a moment to think about it. It was such a good story. Of course I felt bad for main seme and wanted to slap uke with my slipper straight into his annoying face, but... it’s realistic scenario. He followed his first love, but realised he love his actual partner more. And please, if you were cheated on, that’s your decision, what to do. You don’t need revenge. You may forgive it if you feel like it. That’s only your decision. For main seme love, and fact he came back was more important than everything else.
I used to know similar family. My friend has younger brother and sister. And this sister has different father. Mom left family and have romance. But she changed mind and came back to the family, since she decided kids and her husband are most important. Father forgave her and helped raise this girl like his own kid. She is 30 now and they are still strong and love each other.
People use to say: if you cheated once, you will repeat it. But I hope in this case would be different.
