I think the one inside the ring, Ali-kun is the soul of the demon king and he and iruma are somehow linked since Iruma is wearing the ring of gluttony. More Iruma levels up in the hierarchy, the more his power returns to him. Remember when Iruma became rank 5? Ali-san said he was sleeping and suddenly woke up beaming with power.
