Not only in BL even in real life people are so stuck up in their heads they refuse to communicate and decide to hate/stay mad at other people. (Seems kinda dramatic to me)
Legit everything could get better if they were to talk openly but no, they would rather stay mad because: I'm not talking to them!!
(They have the choice/right to do it. Just, rather than stay in conflict, at least try talking to them. If afterwards nothing chance, at least you'll have tried.)
Just drug him, take him away, do what you must do and then forget all about it.
